That's really cool! I've always loved Insomniac, starting way back as a child with the Spyro trilogy, right up to current day with the Spider-Man games, but I didn't know that about Ratchet and Clank! So many games I've played/speedran have had awesome glitches patched out that kinda killed my enjoyment, so that's really sweet that they have a "speedrun settings" option! I hope Insomniac never stops making games.

When I was a kid I always thought the 100 egg requirement was impossible to get because I was so incredibly dogshit at the game

The time doesn't matter, as long as you are trying to go fast and improve your times then you're a speedrunner :) kid you was ahead of the game!

I used to "speedrun" Tony Hawk's Underground when I was a kid. It basically was a speedrun more or less without me realizing it. I saw it as a fun challenge and tried to beat my IGT every time I did run.

I couldn't even complete it lmao

Couldn’t agree more, Spyro 3 any% is a very difficult but very rewarding category. Always a great time to watch others pull off skips that always seems to impress me even to this day.

Seriously when you are conscious of how hard and almost impossible to do only one of those glitches, 20000 attempts is just the number you could expect, success this with only 100 attempts would be much more crazy, but the amount of time he wasted is insane you really need to love this game or speed run to do so or having no life.
