@@hughjasssssssss agree completely. He’s 1% NHer. They probably assumed he was super low on food and could outlast him. This would’ve been a more effective lure if the PVMer rag bolted him before the pker hopped on him or had a recoil on to wast a brew or two.
Sad that they removed the hunter cbow sliding, it was one of the few weapons you could smoove with in osrs. Now we just have to cope with rune knives :(
Sooo they added a stronger version of the hunter crossbow, only to remove the only reason anybody used that weapon in the first place but for both versions? Damn they are dumb as hell.
Its very widely used it early/midgame pvm where 99% of the playerbase is haha. Its understandable to dislike the change but pvp is not the only place it is used, not even close
Trying to understand why they decided to remove the stall animation on it now when it's been out for months, it wasn't even a problem. Rip hunter crossbow I guess
@@gyundie28 You are right, sorry I forgot it is a slightly better magic shortbow that is one handed. Still doesn't make any difference to actual pvm at all though, except for the 10 hours you are only 66-80 ranged, then you can use the bowfa. I guess I just forgot about the level 80s that want to "pvm"
@@TheFriskySquid not everyone has 150m to spend on crystal and bofa, especially not right when they hit 80 range. The target audience of this crossbow was early/midgame casuals or irons. Its widely used at places like basilisk knights or Fight caves, early pvm. Like I said understand disliking the change for pvp but acting like the animation was the only reason "anyone" used it is a deluded, unless all you do is pk (which let me remind you is a small pecentage of the playerbase)
I remember back in the day we used to use these stalls together with a book to "noclip" by going around a corner with the stall and then pressing a book to freeze the character. It would look as if you've noclipped on your screen.

I think its weird they removed the animation stall for the hunters crossbow because it only worked for pvp and not pvm. Some irons that kept getting killed probably cried too jagex about it.
Kind of a bittersweet change. I really liked using it, and even having it used against me in simple mystic sets. I couldn't help but laugh when I got full HP stacked from 11 tiles away for my 800k set But yea in barrows max, it was so aids having to be paranoid about being hit a 20-80 from across the map. Made the fights boring
To think you casually had a couple bill in loot and big kills in a folder casually sitting around, jesus dude. Most people would get 2 or 3 big kills and make a video out of it, but this was great start to finish. Big reapect
Did you seriously compare removing animation stall from one weapon to dealing with botting and macroing? Because that's not apples and oranges. It's firecracker against Dresden bombings.
Not sure if you’ve watched the price of trouver parchments, blood shards, crystal teleport seeds, and others recently, but they have been doing stuff about botting. The bots just come back, as evidenced by the trouver parchment graph due to LMS being a lot easier to create bots for, but theyve been getting banned thoroughly and quickly enough for blood shards and enhanced crystal teleports to go up in price and remain high over the course of the summer.
@@lmaogpee1144 very little, gaming mice in 40-60$ range are all good enough for anything you wanna do unless you're a esports pro. I personally felt my 20$ deathadder was just as good as my superlight, lasted me 3 years had no complaints nor did I really see an improvement after switching to the superlight.
I just came back to osrs after 4-5 years gone and deadass this makes me want to quit again. Why do they remove everything fun or different. Looks like I’m heading back to wow f this lol.
