We haven't found any, because they're all believed to have died out long ago. But they explain how it's possible for such supermassive black holes to exist; the math says that black holes shouldn't even be ABLE to be that big, yet they're all over the place, especially at the centers of galaxies.
@Cloncurrify
@Cloncurrify 2 месяца назад
@thometheiousvladizar7044 By that logic anything is real without empirical proof if we theorise hard enough. The problem with theorising is that it is predicated on assumptions which may later be proven to be wrong or never be proven at all. Theoretical astrophysics is just that: theoretical. Too many people who claim to be followers of science like to treat the theoretical as The Truth. That's not how science works. It's a potential working theory until it is proven or a better theory comes along. And theoretical astrophysics has many theories which may never be proven empirically. Subjective probability calculations are not empirical evidence.

If a hypothetical particle started on the surface of this star and moved in any direction at the speed of light, it'd take 40.75 hours for it to get to its original position again. In comparison, it'd take this particle 0.13 milliseconds on Earth's surface - a difference of 1.1 million times.

What I struggle with is that if nothing can escape a black hole, not even light and light is the fastest speed in the universe, than how can any energy be ejected from the black hole? It would be like a garden hose you hold vertically up and when the water comes out it falls back in because the water pressure isn't enough to overcome earth's gravity. Likewise any energy would fall back down into the blackhole due to gravity. So the only way that could occur is that the energy being ejected from the blackhole would have to be traveling at a speed greater than light.

To give an idea how big quasi-stars are, the sun compared to Stephenson 2-18 (the largest known star) is like a golf ball compared to the Epcot Center sphere, and Stephenson 2-18 compared to a quasi-star is like the Epcot Center sphere compared to Earth's moon. Also, the supernova of a quasi-star is truly mindblowing. The plasma jets from the poles are so big they dwarf this thing that in its red giant phase is so big it can fit 30 of Earth's solar system side by side comfortably inside of it. Then it collapses, forcefeeding the black hole millions of solar masses worth of matter while also part of it gets blown apart to form new stars. It's kind of ironic that the black hole that devours it is the only thing powerful enough to sustain it.

@Cosmoknowledge

It's more likely that the remnants of quasi-stars, black holes, likely migrated toward or formed in regions that would become the centers of protogalaxies. These early black holes then continued to grow and evolve into the supermassive black holes that are now central to galaxy formation and dynamics.

Some of what was said doesn't make sense Black Holes are created when the internal pressure of the star gives way to the external pressure of the star this imbalance is initiated when the core of the star finally begins fusing elements into iron, the surrounding stellar material further compresses the core as the intense gravity of the iron core crushes the surrounding stellar material into an ultra dense state of matter commonly known as a singularity. There do exist "phantom stars" these are black holes surrounded by shells of ionized gas they emit light like stars but once you get close enough the gravity is much stronger than it should be for a "star" of it's size also the light that radiates from them will be dimmer than a star of that size should be.

And how did they come up with this theory? What proof is there that a black hole in the center? Magnetism is a real force of pressure known as repulsion with pressure towards repulsion as unsynchronized flow. Force of repulsion to repulsion? No. Force of propulsion from repulsion. Yes. Cold repulsion to heat propulsion from cold repulsion. Internal magnetic fields grounding currents into itself as the weakest point of repulsion as neutralized repulsion within mass as outward force of repulsion within. Heat can't collapse in on itself as outward force of pressure. That is a physical property that is fact. External heat energy throughout space as a weak external magnetic field is directional momentum with minimum force of pressure to and from cold repulsion within and without entanglement of mass as maximum momentum velocity as external heat energy outside of entanglement of mass as potential renewable heat energy when entanglement with mass occurs. Distance traveling at maximum momentum velocity with the least amount of force as normal space itself. Physics works for pressure equalization as magnetism. Mass occupies space as a neutralized pressure of force within as outward force of pressure known as weightless outside of a greater internal magnetic field grounding currents through its nucleus or core like earth's internal magnetic field. Moving away distance increases and force of pressure decreases as distance increases as weight of currents flowing through mass towards the greater magnetic field. Mass is always outward force of pressure and doesn't collapse inward. Space is occupied by mass. Mass neutralizes cold repulsion within mass as occupational space itself as outward force of pressure known as heat energy propulsion outside and within entanglement as mass. Mass can only expand as occupational space. Physics works. Physical properties are necessary to maintain theoretically factual probability that works with quantum physics without gravity. Magnetism bonding force and repulsion force is equalization of force of pressure within and without entanglement of mass as space itself as a weak external magnetic field. Heat is the lifeblood of everything. Heat is the only force universal and is everything and almost everywhere. The exception is a star explodes away all heat energy singularities outward force of pressure and leaves behind a void of pure cold repulsion devoid of heat energy singularities within as a monopole of pure repulsion to heat energy singularities to weak to penetrate the void and can only collect around the perimeter of absolute zero energy within as monopoles of pure repulsion of cold space. Physics works for magnetism. Force of pressure is always equalization to distance traveling cycling circulation. Normal space filled with dark heat energy outside of entanglement of mass as maximum distance traveling and minimum force of pressure to and from propulsion momentum. What's put in motion stays in motion? Physics works for magnetism as scientific facts. Internal and external magnetic fields. The flip side of physics. Clockwise and counterclockwise. Alpha and Omega. Heat and cold. Ying and yang. Mass is both clockwise and counterclockwise pressure equalization. Magnetism is both cold repulsion to heat energy propulsion momentum from cold repulsion. What's put in motion stays in motion until acted upon by force. One force known as force of pressure within and without entanglement of mass. One universal force is heat propulsion as waves. One particular thing is a singularity of opposition as the only physical property known. Cold space itself is repulsion to heat propulsion singularities momentum. Anti matter is physics as force of pressure never touching. Mass occupies space as outward force of pressure known as neutralized repulsion within mass as the weakest point of repulsion. Opposition to one another is a force that has no definition other than anti matter. Matter is heat repulsion as anti matter. Internal magnetic fields grounding currents as liquidity infinity to illusionary solidity of liquidity infinity equalization of force of pressure flowing in synchronization sequence of pressure equalization as mass with incoming renewable heat energy singularities exchanging singularities in chain reactions equalization as grounding currents to itself and surrounding mass as heat absorption or heat refraction lighting up surrounding atmospheres by repulsion friction of unabsorbed heat energy singularities bouncing around atmospheres. Light is only present in resistance to mass. Mass doesn't always absorb more heat than it can cycle circulation patterns as internal magnetic fields grounding currents into itself and surrounding mass as directional force of pressure known as weight as earth's internal magnetic redirected currents towards the center of Earth's internal magnetic field grounding currents is strongest at the core or nucleus. Hydrogen has the strongest internal magnetic field grounding currents through its nucleus or core. As mass expands distance cycling circulation increases and force of pressure decreases in equalization. Physics works well for magnetism as heat repulsion to refraction of light as heat waves striking atmospheres normally. Lightning is rapid heat loss as equalization to force of pressure released heat energy from disolving internal magnetic fields grounding currents as atmospheres gasses releasing external heat energy into the atmospheres. Lighting up surrounding areas of mass as unabsorbed heat singularities refraction of friction from unabsorbed heat energy outside of entanglement of mass. Hydrogen and oxygen sharing internal magnetism grounding currents as molecules from cold repulsion equalization. When it rains it pours. Oxygen and hydrogen sharing internal magnetism grounding currents in unequlization of pressure. Not enough heat energy grounding currents. So rain hits the ground as currents grounding themselves into earth's greater internal magnetic field. Lightning is rapid heat added to the atmosphere.

Let's change the stars! What I mean is, get the IAU to, OFFICIALLY, make a new constellation. Figure it's time to put something up there relevant to us, don't you think? My idea for changing the stars is called, "Mickey," I mean, "THE ALL-STAR," and includes Orion, Taurus and Pleiades (Subaru). Ok, start at Orion's belt and "Betelgeuse" becomes the head with a baseball hat. The 3 stars of Orion's belt make up the 3 fat belt loops on a baseball uniform. Below the belt are two legs bending at the knee. "Saiph" is the back foot and "Rigel" is the front foot. The spear pointing at "Subaru/Pleiades" is the bat and "Subaru/Pleiades" is the baseball flying away after being hit. "Bellatrix" is the hand that let go and "Aldebaran" of Taurus is the bat's tip. Put it all together and you get, "THE ALL-STAR." In my case, I see a left-handed batter with a, "7," on the jersey. Which makes him, "Mickey." (As it should be) But it can be a righty or lefty with any number you want. Making, "THE ALL-STAR," any player you want and a perfect fit in our night sky. Pass it on, please and thank you. Don't worry, where I come from, crazy is a compliment. ;-P

Any technology superior to our own would be viewed as magic, and the beings who wield that technology would be looked upon as gods. Open your mind to modern times and close the book of ancient myths.

The I is observing the I one true Self Dissolving I creation. All things created must be destroyed. The I is The "BLACK HOLE", Being the Master of the I creation. "Black Hole" is the I self Unmanifest creating in the duality, observing and mastering I creation, Then dissolving All that I have created. Hail Hail To I One True Pure Self Unmanifest. Finding Super giant or greater stars could lead to confirming Advanced life in the Universe. If scientist find a giant star that is billions of years old then it means a super civilization is behind the reason why such as star lasted that long.
