This Starfield location just showed up out of nowhere 

Buddy, that POI is older than Bethesda, it's been available since day 1 of release, you just weren't looking far enough from your landing area.

The solar farm has always been there. Also, the robot workers can spawn at multiple poi's.

The Robot/Human Workforce gambit is a common generated location. It can consist of almost any type of small installation. Sometimes the control computer is outside and other times it's in one of the buildings-it's dependent on the type of installation and always appears in the same place in the same type of installation. The scenario usually begins as you approach. Whatever company is behind the project has already flipped the switch and whatever humans were there (usually two) are dead. You will hear a general robotic broadcast warning humans away and telling them not to interfere with operations. I have never tried to authorize Humans without first disabling the robots. You have two choices: Destroy them upon entering the facility or running for the computer and switching them off. Either way you will have 2 humans, three or four robots, and the facility to loot.

It wasn't a solar farm, but I found a PoI on Mars with the same robots, dead workers, and console.

I only have a couple of hundred of hours in the game and have found the solar farm. And if not mistaken there's a couple of these sites with the robots gone amuck.

yes that one is old, just rare. Has been around since the release I think. And yes there is a mod to claim POI's, you can even do it with console commands and sometimes with glitching.

I ran into this location in my current game on the same planet as my first temple. I had Andreja with me because I was planning to romance her. Then I attacked the robots when I saw them, figuring they were hostile. At some point in this fight, Andreja disappears from my game. I found out that if a companion disappears, reassigning them to your ship will make them reappear. When I do this, Andreja reads me the riot attack and I have no idea why. I ended up fixing things with her and romanced her.

IN the cage area in the building, at launch there was a lootable outfit that we could not wear. It had a name, but no stats, i think it was an npc outfit placed by error.

Awesome clip, have found this poi on The Moon but it was a bit above my pay grade 😅 also the story looks like it's a cutnpaste from another robot poi. Still a good poi to run through

Has anyone else found the mining area overwhelmed by creatures called swarmers?

I’ve seen this a couple of times before and the people are always dead as is the same with abandoned farms. In my gameplay I’ve completely surveyed over 300 planets. One of the weirdest places I’ve seen is a hillside bunker and I would really like to make that my base…great video and as always take care stay safe ✌️

At 2:29 so I've been playing starfield from the beginning when it came out on Xbox. Not going to say thank goodness you found an old location because hey it's your video but when the game first came out this location that you're at. The piece of clothing on the bottom rack inside of the storage cage, a vested tee. Used to be bugged and you were never able to see it in your inventory even though you were able to pick it up. It just vanished back in the day but it's fixed now. The clothing item is what most fancy store clerks wear in the store (s)

Has anyone ever noticed that if you walk into a site with a suit cabinet/stand or several and you don't like the suits after looking but not removing them, you just hit autosave and then load the autosave it will respawn an entirely different suit and will do so each time you reload it while there? I would have assumed it was a glitch but each time you load a ship and modify it all things go into your storage while it reloads an entire new set of objects into the interior.

I've seen this exactly once. I think they tweaked the tables a bit because I had a mission at the underground lab yesterday and haven't seen one in months.

I haven't come across this specific POI but I have come across other POI's with a similar theme. At the last one, when I selected Disable Robot workforce, they exploded.

This isn't just a Solar Farm thing. I've seen this at radio towers as well. NOTHING NEW TO SEE HERE!

It is a unique location. However, I’ve found the same terminal at a small processing plant that was fully manned by robot dogs who killed all the humans. It was a weird I thought at the time and when I ran into all the dead workers who were deemed inefficient. But, it wasn’t a Solar Farm.

In all the time that I played I've only found one location that was a surprise . I've been sent to the same location over and over and over again to collect artifacts . But one single time they sent me to a location that I never saw before and haven't seen since . I also use a mod that adds about 90% more POI's .

I find the fuel depot interesting for two reasons. 1: I’ve never seen the poi show up from space, so it feels really nee to me and 2: The companion dialogue about checking the Helium-3 tanks for fuel has me curious on the refueling mechanic they scrapped.

how can you be over level 200 and not run into one of these before?they have always been in the game.

It would be nice if they wrote a mod to allow you to claim outposts after you clear them.

Only new mission or place i found in my 1200hrs of game play on NG+13 that i have not seen again is Hunted Outpost. I hope i can do that mission again as when i went back there the mission was not available.

I would like to be able to upgrade Vasco to one of the combat model A robots, or even be able to have robots like that on your ship or be able to make them, something like Fallout 4 automaton. It would at least give players something else to do for a few minutes maybe.
