I always watch the biggest xeno mains and most say stealth is bad on Xeno. But I see your point. The turrets only say you are close, not where you are. Good vid+point
Exactly. If you think about it, once the Xeno is established in the movies, they're aware that the Xeno is around, but have no idea where it's coming from. Xeno's terror radius lowers in crawler mode, and as someone else brought up, they even have an add-on that makes it so the xenomorph goes undetectable. Everyone thinks the only form of stealth is complete silence, no, with Xeno, it's disorientation. They don't even say you're close. The turrets read in a 41 meter radius, that's pretty big. Meaning that you could be coming from ANYWHERE, the beeping getting faster as you get closer, making things more nerve racking. Lol.
All the ppl who are very good with the killer all agree on the one point about them, something that rarely happens in this community, but your take is that they're all somehow wrong. Interesting 😂
@@richt7525 I mean there are obviously other killers that it's better on, but if you are trying to say stealth is useless on alien then that's dumb. He literally shows its value here.
@@Mickeymouse7727 it's not useless against inefficient or bad groups, but as a whole it's essentially useless. No other killer in this game has a basekit that so loudly announces their location. Stealth is bad on Xeno vs slowdown or chase builds making them the worst stealth killer in the game and that's just objective facts.
alien is probably the worst killer to run a stealth build on due to the turrets giving away your position from 41 meters even if your undetectable which is a real shame considering alien is known for their stealth and ambush tactics in the movies
I disagree completely. If anything, it adds a layer of confusion to the killer. They don't know if you're out of tunnel or in. What direction you're coming from. 99% of survivors don't even have proper turret placement, crawler mode making the killer smaller helps too. I will always disagree with this take.
@@DeBolttheBear also there's an add on that gives you undetectable if the turret knocks you out of crawler, mind you the nemesis counter part requires a zombie kill. They're literally giving you undetectable lol
@@EvilPeppermintHelix Not to mention crawler mode itself shrinks the terror radius. I believe it is intentional for the xenomorph to disorient and come from anywhere, much like they do in the movies.
This is absolutely correct at higher mmr. Good teams will spread turrets out strategically to always know your location. It isn't as simple as beep means killer nearby- the friggin things beep more rapidly as you approach, regardless of your terror radius or survivors being oblivious. This means that anyone with a higher than double digit IQ can prerun well ahead of time. Saying that they don't know whether you are in the tunnels or not is asinine, mostly because it literally doesn't matter, but also because it's fairly obvious when the turrets short out. Stealth builds can work in these scenarios, but only if you're aggressive with destroying their toys the whole match. TLDR- Xenomorph IS the worst killer to run stealth builds on. Anyone who doesn't get that is clearly used to vs'ing potatoes who are inefficient with the turrets, like placing them right by the control centers. But don't take my word for it, go ask the xenomorph players in the community who are far more relevant. Js.
@@richt7525 first off get off your high horse. Secondly how many hours have you put into Alien, then on top of that how may hours have you tried to play a stealth Alien build? Listening to other people and not playing it yourself and having an opinion on it make you look extremely foolish. If you are letting survivors "strategically set up" you're doing something wrong and not pressing enough. Go put 30 to 40 hours into trying and experimenting with different stealth builds then come back.
I'm new to ur channel! i was wondering if theres a reason why you dont show the final survivor in your matches? is it because they just go for hatch or do you spare final survivors for the funzies? just curious :P
No worries at all, it's been asked before, so I don't mind explaining. Essentially, I don't slug for the 4k or anything, and I consider a 3k a win, so I don't wanna spend the extra time actually looking for them in the recording is all. If I find them, awesome, sometimes I let them have hatch, sometimes I don't, sometimes they just get out! It's all RNG really, so I don't feel like I need to show it!
@@caiolage57 Ooof, that's tough. We had a storm a couple months ago that was really bad, ended up not having power for a few days, it was rough for sure. Sorry about that .
