1. Nail polish on dudes is a purely aesthetic thing that’s coming into fashion over the last few years, particularly as Gen Z trends start replicating a lot of mid-2000s (including emo) trends. 2. Bougie is the direct slang abbreviation for Bourgeois - but while technically the same thing, the meaning has come to signify upper class/fancy rather than upper-middle class.

there's nothing behind the black nail polish, i personally think that just many men liked how it looks, its really refreshing, and they saw that ppl r not critisizing other ppl for it and not assuming their entire sexuality cause of the fckin nail polish, but rather just find this attractive, so yuh def form of expression. so i think thats why many ppl started to paint them like that

The black polish can have some meaning to some idols and it depends on the idol and what or if they are supporting some campaign. For example Ateez Hongjong wears black nail polish on one pinky finger which means Painting one fingernail is the hallmark of the Polished Man campaign, which brings awareness to violence against children. I don't know if this campaign is world wide or just in Korea. But there are many other nail campaign's we probably are not aware of that these idols support and has meaning. I don't think on general that they would wear black nail polish just to wear it in the k-pop industry. Maybe in the western industry and for a certain genre of music to make them have a certain appearance.

3:00 its mostly a style, black nails nowadays, i remember as a kid only seeing punk's and emo's do it, and still do, like underground artists, like Scarlxrd(who i recommend to listen to, he's a really good rapper, and is a really good screamer), but, i like it, because i like unusual styles, and personally, i prefer to wear black clothes, and want to get more black colored jewerly in a future, and want to paint my nails a dark color, or if possible just black

Black nail polish let's see my niece told me her mother told her growing up to not be a lesbian and not wear black nail polish because that means you're a lesbian...lol yeah for real she said that. My niece went goth. Yungblud wore black nail polish kinda like a punk rock thing but then black hearts are part of his signature. Idk I think of it as a creative spirit. Personally it's for nice occasions.

The black nailpolish thing, maybe bacause black is more represent the masculine for man, more than other color. But if you find kpop idol who only polish one of his nail, its means "raise awareness for Polished Man, a campaign to stop violence against children, Every five minutes, a child dies because of violence."
