In this RU-vid shorts video I show you the Ryobi 40V HP Brushless Whipser Series 17 inch string trimmer and show you how well the string attachment and the blade attachment works. Definitely recommend this one as it is a MONSTER string trimmer (may be overkill for some...)

I actually appreciate these electric tools. If I had a business I would be able to start earlier since the noise isn’t as loud as gas powered

As a business you would fail. Consider how many batteries you would need to carry to keep working? Lawnmower weed eater hedger edger blower and other random tools used in the industry are gas for a reason. Y'all need to stop with this electric 🗑️. Electric tools can be a benefit but never as you suggested

☝️ old thinking Bro I use maybe a 1/2 battery doing a yard about four times the size of what he just did. Now if I had a business I would do the same for the same reasons just out of respect for the neighbors. Not for economics. And another thing folks don't consider they make 12 volt inverters so your batteries can always be charging while you're driving to your next job. You don't need that many batteries anymore man these things rock. (That's old thinking from '80s nycad) I thought the same thing so I bought 4 of them. I never use them. Only the one 🤷

By the way the Ryobi blowers are whisper quiet and go months between charges

If I get the blade trimmer, can I cut through small branches? Like 1-3cm branches ?

I have this but the head is constantly and I mean every 3 minutes getting stuff stuck in that little crevice until eventually it slows the motor and then I gotta get the scissors out and cut it. Total pain. Is mine missing like a guard or something?

If you push the trimmer deep into growth, then plant stems can wrap around the head and get stuck. Keep it back further so the strings can cut the stems before they can wrap around the base.

Have one. Cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the blade head on it. Any suggestions? I wonder if I’m missing some parts…

Remove the string trimmer head by setting it to the unlock position and then pull out. Then attach the blade head and make sure the spring is in there correctly...you may have to reposition it a few times to get it in...I think lining up those two metal poles to the appropriate position on the trimmer end helps.

The only sucks is that it’s not attachment compatible.
@ZadiusTech
@ZadiusTech Год назад
Agreed, but this string strimmer model is much more heavy duty and powerful than the one that is attachment capable. But yeah, for the typical homeowner the attachment capable version which is cheaper than this one is a better choice. This is for those that do this for a living or have to use it quite often.

Ok why do you guys always review the cheaper models ? There are zero reviews from the UK or the USA, Australia or South Africa on the 18V Brushless HP 26CM Brush Cutter. The bike handlebar style control and harness model. They also do a MAX HP 36V version of it too, I'm talking about the ones with the TriArc cutting disc.

You're not supposed to use it on your face. Did you even read the manual? Pretty sure the 'not for use on face' section is right next to 'do not use to cut power lines'
