I can't tell you how many times I got completely turned around on the 1st floor this year. When you come down those middle stairs from floor 2 and they put you out on floor 1, it's total disorientation! Had to check the map and get my bearings every single time! Same thing in reverse.

Slovenia is small but beautiful! Mountains, Istra/Adriatic coast and so many places in between to see!! Bordering with Italy and Austria you will see how different such a small area around the borders can be!! Three totally different group of languages, cultures, cuisine,...you name it! I LOVE that part of the world!

The end of the video w/them runing down the hallway of the hotel listening w/their ears to each N every door till they found it by hearing the Sylvanian's in their room talking was awesome and hilarious and would be super funny/awkward to just see randomly without context

My cousin married a Polish woman and after getting married in Poland, they honeymooned in Slovenia. Such a beautiful country. If you make it over there, try to get your hands on some Slovenian cream cake. It's delicious!

Hey Matt FYI the reason they don't want weapons in the rooms is because in 2006 a sniper used a Barrett to shoot from one hotel to another in an attempt to kill an entertainer who was going to testify against the Las Vegas mob....oh no wait that was the movie Smokin Aces.

Weather can be super sucky. Was in Munich one year and waiting on a flight to London, but the flight was delayed, and delayed, then delayed some more. And no British Airways staff came to tell the passengers anything. Everyone was already in the waiting lounge. Then when the flight was about an hour and a half late already (bear in mind it's only 2 hrs from Munich to London) they finally came to tell us that the plane was still stuck circling Heathrow because of a severe storm. That's right the flight hadn't even offloaded its current load of passengers. So we had to wait for it to land, offload, get cleaned and refuelled before it could fly out to Munich to pick us up. I'd booked a car that we were to pick up when we landed, so I ended up having to call the rental company who were understanding enough to shift our booking to the next morning and we ended up having to sleep in the terminal because we landed at 12:30am and the car pick up was at 5am.
