@24:06 FUN FACT: This "little dude" is called "Topi" (there is even a trophy of it iirc). BUT in the early Japanese version Topi is a seal (yes, a seal, the animal). This was replaced in the American and later versions by this "little dude" (the yeti form) to avoid accusations of embracing animal cruelty.
Really love these videos, subbed! Only critique I’d give is a little introduction to the players, like you did for the first(?) episode. Having to try to deduce who is who takes away a bit
Not the biggest Melee fan, but I’ve been watching a bunch of content lately, including these videos, and I’m loving them so far! Knowing the upcoming changes to Discord activities, allowing anyone to make apps for them, this makes me want to try to develop a Jeopardy Discord activity haha
I would like to maybe see some outline go around the players names when theyre talking, probably using discord. Would make it effortless to figure out who's who
24:05 I didn't know that it existed in melee. but, thanks to yt gaming trivia videos, I _do_ know that they only exist in western versions, having originally been a seal
I found these vids yesterday and now I’m looking forward to watching every new one that comes out and I’m subbed!! I’ve played every smash game Except melee, but it’s still fun to sit back and watch people know so much about this game and all the players that keep the scene alive! I hope that after 15-20 episodes of this series you bring back the 3 players that had the highest scores out of all the previous episodes to have a top-jeopardy special! Also I was so happy I finally got a question right while watching (Roy’s target test) with the emojis, and the players didn’t actually get that one. That was wild
loving these melee trivia videos!! if i had any suggestion for you would be to light up the name of the answering player or make it easier to know who is answering some other way.
18:20 I could have sworn it was the other way around. I saw them playing in an online tourney recently under the MoG tag. They were also potentially lag switching. Just saying us peach players are grimey.
Def could be wrong there. I do remember the sentiment in like 2016 or so being 'axe sometimes loses to local marths in az'. Mighta been John wick or tai or maybe I'm just outright wrong.
