I have always given either one single rose or a dozen of roses to my spouse. Yes, the response is shock . It opens the door and invites the man into a new emotion - which is also growth . My ex & forever best friend of 35 years. I sent him a " Just Because " dozen of roses. The florist actually sent 2 dozen of roses in error. He had the exact response as your husband. When reflecting about the roses. He said that it's a feeling & memory that he will never ever forget. Tfs! Ah, so many things...I knew Sierra was serious about her gift when she shot down Sean's joke about getting some.😅 Then, the way she listened to and studied Sean was so beautiful. Don't come for me, but Sean's reaction to Sierra's gift reminded me of the scene in Forest Gump when Forest was talking to Jenny at her graveside. The raw emotion that Tom Hanks showed was amazing, and that is the emotional vulnerability that Sean showed here, imo. ❤
