@@Pull54545454 nice reviews, I'm always seeing another, but that mightn't be a permanent thing, I'm satisfied I can eat fastfood vicariously through you (no g translate, how'd I do)
Yes they will tell you that different franchises are owned by different people but I want them to come down hard on those franchise owners who are abusive they're setting a bad example for all of the good franchise owners who put lots of chicken in their chicken burrito dammit
It's pretty disheartening when you think about how much the average customer has to give in order to pay for a fast food meal. Many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck and groceries aren't any cheaper nowadays.
Out of all of the food reviewers on the interwebs, and there are a LOT, I come HERE for the truth. You’re always fair, always dispassionately logical, which is exactly what I want. Truthfully, your reviews really hit, because you have an uncanny ability to preemptively answer the most pressing question with each item. For this, my first question was, “Ok, but how much chicken is in it?” I hope you know how much people appreciate what you do. Thank you, fine sir, you saved me $2.00. Hey, have you thought of branching out to TikTok? Do you have a Patreon? I think people would love to support you! You’re an OG classic, and I think you’d be surprised at how much support you’d get. ❤️❤️❤️
Nailed it again, Reviewbrah.🙌🏼🥰 Exactly - where’s the chicken? Also, I very much appreciate that you look directly into the camera - and not to the side. Keep shining your awesome light.🙌🏼💫🌟💫
It was a bit better back in the 90's, I was shocked at how much of a scam it is trying it in 2021, who goes back there after being scammed this much...
@@Jack-zj1ugInstead of choosing to introduce quality items, they make gimmicky items that over promise and under deliver. They use hype and marketing to drive sales instead of making quality products that sell themselves. They don’t worry about return customers for these items because they’re temporary.
thank you for keeping the entire food industry humble when it comes to your fans like me. Working as a line cook, the cost of food always outweighs the price of the meal. A lost concept is, its up to cooks to make sure you have a satisfactory meal and make you want to come back, not the company or anyone elses. 4 pieces of chicken in a "chicken wrap" with lack of sauce and mostly rice is a glorified granola bar. $2 is enough for me to stick my neck out and try it, but i know their menu items are better and/or more consistent with only a slightly higher price. Godspeed reviewbrah
Taco Bell is the king of greedflation right now. I went for the first time in a long time last week and paid almost $13 for two chili cheese burritos and a drink. That used to be a $5 order.
You have style and class. I love how you dissected the burrito. Very amazing. I want that burrito now but I go into it knowing I won’t get chicken. You go above and beyond in your videos.
Don't worry. If we get 4 more years of bidenomics, we'll all be looking back at this chicken burrito fondly while munching on our $15 cricket enchilada burritos.
I was expecting your complaint as soon as I heard the ingredient list. Never get tacos or burritos with rice in them. It's used as a cheap filler. All you get is rice and little else. I tried an item at Taco John's and had the same experience. And it wasn't a $2.00 item either.
Reasons to like Reviewbrah: 1) Says "burrito" instead of "burrido" 2) Rockin' the starched collar with the best tie ever 3) Even though they are never shown on camera, I bet he's wearing spats. Because ... standards 4) His honesty without brutality is even more brutal than brutal honesty
I live vicariously through Reviewbrah. One nibble of this would have me chained to the porcelain for a minimum of 72 hours. Thank you for your sacrifice, Reviewbrah. God's speed.
I had one like last week, and it was like an 8.5/10 because it was made correctly. Sucks how much they vary from location to location. And it was only $2.
Slapping red sauce into a burrito and calling it an enchilada burrito... Taco Bell's product development team has gotten lazy. If you like this burrito, just make a decent-sized batch at home yourself and throw it in a tortilla whenever you want one. It'd be cheaper and you could control the portions of what you want 'cause you know this burrito is probably 90% rice.
The XXL steak Burrito was good back in the days. I liked Jack in The Box full sized Tacos. That was along time ago. The quality of fast food has gone down but the price goes up.
This is why automation in fast food restaurants will be better for the consumer. No employees to mess up an order or pay. More consistent measurements, and hopefully better portion sizes due to less employees to pay on a daily basis.
If they're not careful, they'll end up seeing a downturn in revenue like McDonald's. When you are known as being a cheap place to eat, and you start charging more without an incentive, it's only your fault if you try to swindle customers and, in turn, lose profits. People don't go to these places for 5-star quality, they're meant to be a fast, cheap option that is satisfying and tasty. Yet the quality just gets lower. Mcd's corp turned a blind eye, thinking people would continue to eat there, simply because of the food, while also taking away options post-pandemic that people enjoyed. Then upcharging the dollar menu. They're clearly out of touch with the needs and wants of the average consumer (they lost a lot of lower income people, to no surprise), but maybe the loss in revenue will get them nervous enough to stop being so greedy lol
The morning crew at my local Taco Bell is fantastic. They serve me breakfasts that are good enough for royalty. But the night/closing crew absolutely sucks.
crap food? this is pretty good for fast food! tell reviewbrah to go back to Arbys and stop complaining....watched him for many years he dony get "Fast food" he is a richie rich he wants the best!
@@scottbrown-vc2lp everybody laying down their money for an advertised product is entitled to receive product as advertised but you my friend take anything anytime because you just don't have any standards
@@Drak976 lol what? What is that even supposed to mean? Do you consider Taco Bell to be "good food"? Im an illustrator (SEE AVATAR) so dont try to teach me about color, haha :)
As nasty as it is, the 7 Layer Burrito is classic. I liked those grilled stuffed burritos too. And basic bean burritos. Mexican pizza was tasty. I haven’t been there in years, but I preferred Taco Bell to any other fast food. If I want a burger I make my own. I’ll make a burrito too, much better of course. That’s why I don’t eat fast food I just make it myself or go to a deli or pizza. There’s great pizza where I live. But eat too much you get fat as heck. Happened to me so I stopped I started becoming a blimp eating pizza for lunch every day. But it tasted so good. One thing I’ll give Taco Bell, some of the stuff they come up with you can make it home with fresh great ingredients and then it’s incredible. It’s probably cheaper too or at least around the same cost of food.
@@romusz It’s gone now? What are they doing? And the basic bean burrito was nuts. Don’t tell me they got rid of that too, bland but some sauce they were not bad. Are the grilled stuffed garbage ones gone as well? They were delicious, like they put those spicy corn chips on them.
We've given up on fast food in my household at this point, lol. It's always overpriced, quality's getting worse, and they forget/get half the order wrong.
I remember during hard times was when mcDs introduced the dollar menu and everyone followed suit. I heard somewhere that it was the only thing that kept them a float. I can’t believe people are willing to pay todays prices for poor quality downsized food. Even our local places are doing it. I recently paid “ not paying attention “ 11.99 for a 10” footling hotdog on an 8” bun. 11.99 for a hotdog. I was shocked when she gave me the total.
I'll sadly often look up my town and restuarants/food. I'll skim through every single place up to food carts 30 miles away. I'll then sadly go make dinner. My other options are basically getting way overcooked noodles in a worse sauce then I could make and a smug wait person who won't refill my drink and expects 25% tip.
@@Drak976i have given up on almost all fast food as well. When i pulled up to a mcdonalds and asked for a mcdouble and a mcchicken they told me a price of almost $7.00. I responded with "no thanks. Have a nice day". The prices fast food restaurants want for fast calories is ridiculous. The only fast food I still buy is thr egg bites at starbucks and dunkin donuts. Its not that they aren't ridiculously overpric3d (bc they are) but at least they are somewhat healthy and stably available no matter where I am on a road trip. Whenever I would get fast food I either just make the meal myself or jump to to a sit down restaurant where I can get a meal for $20 including a tip and it would hav3 been $14 for a far inferior meal at a fast food restaurant. Also waffle house for the win.
they assemble them quickly and with tools that are difficult to use in a way that creates a consistent and pretty burrito. there are some people who post POV videos of them assembling the burritos and they really show you all you need to know
Lately there has been a huge problem with fast food restaurants across the board downsizing the amount of food that they offer in their product. This has spawned lawsuits that these companies are actually losing. The very first big one was when subway introduced the footlong and it was actually only 8 in Long. Now there are people discovering that when you used to get a Whopper, the meat would go to the edge of the bun now the bun is bigger than the meat, much bigger in some cases. These fast food restaurants are jacking up the price of their food and downsizing the size of their food. Thinking that the American citizens are so stupid they won't even realize it. Well, maybe some are. We are allowing them to get away with this by continuing to go to these restaurants and buying the food, and not screaming loud about it. But there are more lawsuits believe it or not coming down the pike. These companies are losing these lawsuits, and paying out a lot of money for false advertising or false claims. I think it comes down to the fact of buy your own ingredients at the store; start making your own food, you know what's in it and you at least you know where the hands that made it have been
It's called shrinkflation. A higher price is scary to consumers so they would rather sneakily give you less product before raising the price. The main problem is government created inflation. Abolish the federal reserve.
here’s an idea…..stop eating their garbage food. you’re giving greedy cocksmiths your money for processed ass food that gives you cancer lolol quit consuming
It makes me angry when restaurants disappoint ReviewBrah. Like how could they do that? How dare they offend our liege lord's noble palate? For this, they will surely pay.
Yeah, which is just annoying tbh. I miss when you never knew what his thoughts were going to be til after he tried it. Now, the title and thumbnail gives it away. And it's also annoying how he spends 4-5 minutes just talking.
@@leaf2180Well, content creators are naturally going to change up how they make their content, only some are happy enough to keep doing it the same way. Reviewbrah won't please everyone, it's a given. He won't want to make content if he can't do it his own way, and that's perfectly understandable.
I have to say, Taco Bell quality varies so strongly based on the location. The one by my college has the absolute worst quality. Borderline disgusting. The one by my house, on the other hand, hands down my favorite food and favorite place to eat
That’s what i’m saying. I’ve had two entirely different taco bell experiences from two different locations. That’s the difference between fresh meat, and good distribution or not. It’s hard for fast food places they’re always getting lazy ass teenagers. I hate my job too but damn kid, it could be so much worse lol. Just make me some fresh food.
It can be by shift too. The one near me sucks during the day. Horrible food quality, portions and consistency. And that's if they even get the order right. The night crew on the other hand nails it. Go after 9pm and it's great.
Tends to be like that for every fast food spot. I’ve been to a Hardees that was great all throughout, and I’ve also been to a Hardees in NorCal that was horrible, both in service and food
@@dzxn3728 Lots of problems, like keeping ingredients properly stored and rotated so you don't serve spoiled food, or cooking it properly, or maintaining a clean kitchen to avoid contamination, or prepping portions correctly so you don't have old food items lingering under heatlamps for ages then being served to customers... there are a lot of ways to mess up the food. And all of it depends on the manager and staff on shift caring enough to do the job right or just half-ass it.
Tace Bell was good 30 years ago when I was a teen. You could eat a whole bag for like 5 dollars and it was real food. The stuff today is trash. Just so people know there are minimums to calling stuff meat where they have meat essence or a few percent of meat and then it's really a BLEND. Companies put in lots of fillers and then salt and pepper with spice to jack up the blandness. Why buy 3 disappointing burritos for 6 dollars? Just go to a nice authentic Mexican restaurant for real food.
I've legitimately stopped going to TBell since like ~2021ish, and I used to go 3-5 times per week. They keep increasing prices, cutting items, but not improving the quality of what items are left - It's like they just try to see what they can get away with.
@stevemorlock5366 I don't go to Taco Bell for authentic Mexican food, and you are a fool for thinking anyone would. There are implications that come with adapting a traditional Mexican dish at a Taco restaurant even if "Mexican" isnt used in the marketing, hench why I used that word to describe "enchilada."
Traditional Mexican food has no cheese because our ancestors were so poor and only used ingredients that were local like corn and crickets and eggs occasional meat products
Its been a while since I've watched ReviewBrah's videos. Its great to see that he has added well timed humor, and jump scare cross cuting into his reviews! Love the videos man!
@@definitelynotanAIchatbotyep. Not only that but then people pay double the already inflated price to have it delivered. People paying $20 for a Big Mac and fries lol.
Haha, you should have a talk with my teenage daughter. She orders a $22 big mac meal and thinks it's a good deal if they throw in an extra order of fries for "free" on the app
Knowing how Taco Bell is alarmingly inconsistent with properly making their food next time ask for no chicken and chances are you will get double the chicken 😅
I like how when showing the cross-section, for a few moments he smiles for the thumbnail, but then after the video when selecting which frame to actually use he says, "No, this burrito does not deserve my smile."
My Taco Bell used to tell us to go light on the chicken for value burritos so that they could save money. We’d be forced to do half scoops 😳 I’d go a little extra of course. Never know when reviewbrah is going to roll through.
Foolish chain managers you lure the people in with decent $2 value burritoes so they trust you when they want the $10 super combo taco madness meal sigh.
@@Drak976 see the thing is this is a widely known thing in taco bell.....ive been to 2 taco bells in 2 different towns back to back days and ordered the same value menu item......the one that was near home was double the size of the the same item from the other one. they wont be as strict for the bigger items
I usually just get the regular tacos, but I haven't been there in years. The burrito shell and size is just folded over in such a way that you are getting more bread than filling. I just make mine at home.
Yes, their original, crunchy taco still tastes like it was when TB was born. They have cut the amounts of ground beef(or a facsimile of ground beef) and cheese. But, it's quick and tasty enough for the price, especially when you're tired, hungry, and want tacos. Obviously, homemade tacos are the best ❤
You’d be highly disappointed to go there now for tacos! Usually you get a meat stain , a few bits of cheese and the rest is lettuce. They don’t even give you tomatoes anymore! You have to order supreme and pay more for tomatoes. And for some strange reason they quit serving chicken tacos even though they have all the ingredients right there. I guess a chicken stained taco really increases their overheads.
I get your argument. Thank you so much Reviewbrah. For 2 bucks, and it tastes good...I am still willing to give it a try...knowing your review. I am truly grateful.
When I was a kid I loved Taco Bell. Then as an adult I realized something...if I just go to the grocery store instead of Taco Bell and get all the ingredients, I can make a bigger, better, much more tastier...not to mention healthier taco or burrito. Long story short...the last time I ate at Taco Bell was about a decade ago. LOL
@@lizzyyork The trick to making a good hard boiled egg is to bring the water up to a boil...add your eggs...then turn the heat down to low, cover and simmer for 12 minutes. Perfect boiled eggs every time. Try it!
@@lizzyyork, buy precooked steak or chicken fajitas. John Soules is a good brand. All you have to do is warm it up. Same with beans if you like those. They sell premade taco shells just like TB uses and for flour tortillas just heat up a skillet to medium high, drop the tortilla in and in 2-3 seconds flip it, 2 more seconds take it out. Don't do that until everything else is ready to put in so the cheese will melt a bit. And I mean no offense, but how do you mess up a boiled egg? The only way I can think is if you don't pay attention and overcook it. Set a timer on your phone or buy one. They really aren't the simplest thing to cook but after multiple tries it baffled me when you said that!
In the future we will think back to times like today where there was actual chicken on our Taco Bell burritos and not just chicken or beef flavoring. Times are changing!
