Why droodles said 183 is good: 1. It’s stay at the very back of the map most of the time. 2. For how massive it’s gun is, it’s surprisingly accurate when maxed everything out. 3. Because of reason 1, it’s usually doesn’t get punish for ruining your day… it will just move back into cover before you can even see it.. 4. It hit really hard so just a few shells can settle your game.. But this tank have a lot of weakness so it’s not hard to deal with. It’s just dangerous if you left it unchecked.. Not OP nor strong just a dangerous gun.. I’m not native English but I hope you can somewhat understand what I mean.. 😅😅
I've almost NEVER had an issue with 183's. I'm careful around bushes, and won't poke aggressively if I know there's an unspotted 183 around. I think 183's perfectly counter Droodles' playstyle of aggressive pushes (Which doesn't make him bad by any means, it just means the 183 takes advantage of it)
The tank has plenty of weakness to be neutralized easily. If people leave it alone to deal damage then that’s their problem. A foch 155 or Soviet premium TDs will give you more pain because they have impenetrable armor
This tank is stupid accurate, like why and how did I get hit by a 183 400+ meters away ON THE MOVE FULL SPEED IN MU SHERIDAN AND GETS LIGHT ON FIRE AND DIE I’m done, I’m done with this game
@@whydoyoucare0580it’s not entirely his fault, sure he decided to move when there’s a 183 but still he got penetrated at 500 meters with HESH and got caught on fire is real rng moment.. considering Sheridan got spaced armor all over it.. 😅
@@markogaudiosi5243Don’t poke ? That makes no sense to say. Of course you don’t want to peek in front of a 183. The point of the video is to address the problem with the tank in its current state in the game. Only because you don’t poke, the problem behind it is not disappearing.
Dawg, y'all need to understand, the fv4005 and fv215b 183 were meant to house cruiser cannons, it's a 183 mm cannon, what did you expect it's gonna hit hard man, now should it be in a game that is in a very small match no, not at all, but in a game like wot PC it does make sense, because instead of 7 tanks their ls 15 tanks
The fact that the 183 also carries 3000 dpm WITH AP, 60% of the shell you fire will be HESH so you will have even MORE DPM, while having crazy amount of damage per shot, paired with a strangly accurate gun for its caliber, just the gun alone, is crazy. I really dont know what wg was thinking when they buffed 183's accuracy
First tier X tank I grinded when I started playing. This thing, when played correctly, can easily win you the game because of the high alpha it deals. The only problem is finding good teams or if you're not playing a 183, hoping that the 183 on your team isn't an idiot that shoots one shell, rushes in and immediately dies.
Noobs like you (with all respect) sitting in the back and shooting a skilled player in a med/light for 1.4k dmg with hesh, ruins this game. It takes 0 skill and punishes peaple who dont camp
@@martijn7153 so by your logic, tank destroyers should be frontal assault units instead of doing their intended job? Right, so let's take a Grille 15 for example. Good alpha, accuracy and camo when hidden at the back. All of that but it still has the number one problem it suffers the most: paper armor. Even with spall liner, a single HE shell or HESH shell will still obliterate more than half of its HP if it ever decided to go in the front lines. Even if it did, it will be tunnel-visioned. Now I know there are TD's out there that are indeed capable of brawling but let's not forget the main issue here. The 183 is a glass cannon that doesn't excel in close quarters if your team won't cover you and you'll be throwing away the advantage your team has by dying. It excels at sniping at the back while providing support for the team. It all boils down to having a good or bad 183 player.
@OvergrownSausage 0 game knowledge. First off, the grille hasn't got a good alpha and has terrible camo for what the tank is. Secondly, the paper armor is what balances the vehicle. The 184 is solidly armored for what the tanks role is. Last but not least, the 183 is not a glass gun. This whole video is about it beiing to accurate for a 183mm gun
@@martijn7153 So what else is a 183 supposed to do then? Charge at the enemy as if it's got the armor and hp of a heavy tank? I get the point of the 183 supposed to be slightly inaccurate as an offset for it's high alpha and HESH damage but that's all it's got going for it. Once it fires it becomes a piñata for any tank to shoot at.
I literally quit wotb bc of the 183, like wow ur in a hull down tank using ur tank like your meant to , booom your punished by a 183 penning ur turret for half of ur hp. And the 183 tards will defend the tank with theyre lives. Saying its balanced and im bad for using my tank properly
For it to be TRULY OP, it must get the following - Vk 90 armor profile - Batchat mobility - Leopard 1 gun handling - Tungsten shells - Reticle calibration - 360° turret - Obj. 263 DPM
I play it shotgun style (like you did on Normandy) on maps that allow it, urban maps allow you to sit on hard cover and just peek and smoke whatever tank pokes. Honestly the worst maps on the 183 are the campy maps as people are less likely to poke hills and donate their HP
For some reason if i play 183 i misses most shots 1/5 fully aimed Luck unfair But when i play a full speed light or medium i get hit even in gravity mode
Fv 183 is not broken or op It has no armor ( you need to be lucky to bounce some shells) The shell speed is not good You need to wait 20 seconds to shot Any light or medium tank can nuke you if you miss the shot so yeah its annoying but its not overpowered
I think this is good bcuz it punishes light and med noobs who rushes. Just saw a tvp rushung like crazy only to get nuked for 1,4k dmg by a 183 and a conway finished it. Leo's, TVP's and Batchats are less aggressive now
sitting in one place and shooting enemy is hard, wtf? Just stick with your team and now you can deal 1500 dmg to your enemy without being punished at all, you call that “isnt op”? You re clearly a 183 player and doesnt want it to get nerfed
Try playing this in Asia and see how bullsht RNG and teammates balance this out that almost nobody trust it, heck, even i dont trust this tank given how many misses and ineffective shot cost me the match.
183 is lethal with skilled players and annoying with normal players. The fact that most pf the player base sucks😂. I have battles where two 183 in my team played like they are the 8 years olds just got an account from his or her brother 😂
Like Russian server and like 5.5 update this tank should be hugely nerfed turned into a collector and removed from the game and be replaced by alligator tank.
Where is logic u have jg with smaller relod which can deal dmg often higher than fv215b 183 with hesh and dealing often same damage from ap have bigger armour and have probably better depression...
