Have missed you, Kim but truly understand that you sometimes need to disconnect and focus inward. You said to tell a story so here is mine…. I’m in transition as I’m about to move from my family’s home which I had moved back to about 25 years ago. I had to move on from here, lots of baggage I had about teenage years so wanted to reinvent myself. I did that and then moved back. I think it was all part of me realizing the things I struggled with, how I saw myself was not who I was, stronger when I moved back. Life was going on and it showed me how much I was unfair to myself all those years ago and so it goes. Now, it’s time for me to move on again… somewhat scary as I don’t know all that is ahead of me. I’m excited too. I’m looking forward to building a life in a new place with my husband but in preparation for this, I’ve been packing. Going through all the stuff I’ve accumulated, pictures, cards… stopping to look at everything. I wonder how I lost touch with people that was in my previous life, stuff I wrote about what I had been feeling, some are actually writings of how I was processing the choices I had made back then, thinking about how much clarity I have now. Acceptance… Presence… Exactly! I pray that I hold onto these thoughts and keep this perspective as I move forward. Not forgetting what I’ve learned and how it feels. When I was a teenager I really like a guy and never told him. A lot of years later we went out for fish and chips, lovely time. I was still struggling with myself and was back and forth with him. 18yrs of abuse and adultry from a future ex husband. I escaped my torturer and tormentor. The divorce is n finality 13 Nov. He's stalking me; still has me tethered. I died 4 2min 12 Nov 2022.
