I came back to blight and the game in general after a long absence, and I hate how his collision works. Like I can’t slide off of anything, feels like no matter what the object is or how I hit I always get stopped in my tracks. All my muscle memory and map knowledge has to be thrown out the window
Yeah… Unfortunately, they released Blight at a point where he was way different than how he was designed and what the devs wanted. They tried changing this all a couple times before, finally they decided to make his design closer to what they envisioned. I personally don’t mind, but you do have to relearn him which is very infuriating. I get your pain
Hug tech is niche to begin with and experienced Survivors who actually understands how blight collision works *Gasp* Survivor actually having to play killer unheard of! is hard to catch them with it. F behavior ruining every fun killer in this game, I ignored the add on changes whatever but this is the last straw for me.

Blight is now probably the third best killer, with billy being better on average, but blight is still SUPER strong, hug techs werent that strong, especially compared to good bump logic, why did bhvr remove this fun mechanic? No clue
Billy is better than Blight in every aspect rn since he can curve around loops which was basically Blight's Hug Tech , but Blight is still 3rd killer in the game rn imo
I hate these new collision changes :( as a console player with probably around 1500-2000 hours on blight alone, I think console blight depended on slippery collision and the hug tech to be viable as his sensitivity is just too low. On PC I can play blight fine with the new changes but he’s genuinely D tier on console now it’s sad
Now I don’t have 1500-2000 hours on Blight, but I play about every killer and Blight’s issue really could be fixed along side other killer’s powers: flicking If they increased the flick window on about every killer that has one (PH, Blight, Wesker’s turn radius, and there’s a couple more) in order to follow more in line with PC as you can easily affect your flick ranges on PC
After hug tech removal blight lost all the fun it used to provide me with. It was so satisfying, i loved to land sick moonrushes, double backs and other cool techs, but in the name of perfect balance they had to destroy it. Blight is like a used toy now. Used to be sick fun, now he's dull and unsatisfying. Gotta full switch to hillbilly because im having hella lot of fun playing him

I dont think it was that big of a nerf for the blight. Some call it a buff since a lot of collisions actually work. The main point of this update is blight is now 10 times less fun to play
I play on console and love the collision changes It didn’t fix everything as there’s still some rough spots and I feel the collisions a bit overtuned in some spots but it’s nice to finally have intuitive bump logic
I get that blight is still good but he definitely feels way too restricted now in terms of being able to navigate around loops it feels very jank to keep bumping more constantly without sense of direction, he’s still insane just now even harder for less experienced players as well as those who got used to blight, I think the tech was very helpful and was in no need to be removed
crazy how different the killer game play is when you run all the good gen perks. 50% of my killer game play is patrolling gens because I can't afford to get any good gen perks
People that say blight are dead have never seen a Japanese comp blight, even with hug tech they didnt use it and honestly them removing it removes a just bullshit mechanic that made blight able to outplay literally every loop on the map.
I was feeling worried for all the blight mains when they removed hug tech on him, but seeing you destroy 100 teams in a row, well, lets just say it didnt affect too much for you guys huh😂❤
Erm, well as a console player learning blight, yes, once you learn the basic bump logic hes very fun, you can do every tech lilith does with a roller, ive been hitting flicks and hit my first 180 flick just yesterday.
Unfortunately Blight is definitely gonna lose a lot of players now. Hug techs and learning slides and how to use them was the most fun part about Blight, but now it's just too dull compared to what we used to have. All this will do is make a well designed killer less played, widely unenjoyed and still loathed due to his strength if you forget the past and play Bump Logic. At least Vecna's fun

blight still good but he's defidently not as fun as he used to be, bump logic is king but not as flashy or cool to pull off. Good that you dropped a video :D I know it's not about hug tech but It was mentioned on the start and I wanted to drop my thought.
He’s become unplayable on console. U needed slippery collision and the hug tech to set up angles to hit survivors because his sensitivity is stupidly low on console.
@@NathanGraffin And the sensitivity increases in the most absolute nothing when you bump in something, I almost always try to turn the camera during the rush and it goes a lot because of it, or maybe is a skill issue for me I don’t know
And despite the nerf it needs to be nerfed even more. Removing a rush from its power, and making the cooldown a few seconds longer, would make it a perfectly balanced killer.
These devs to this game wont give us Blight players 1 week to get used to the changes and then they change him again its become frustating to try and get some sorta feel for different combos. Nerf/change/nerf/change/nerf/nerf just remove Blight from the game allready to satisfy the casuals and be done with it allready. This game is losing its Skill fast
How is he still s tier if you are playing him with 4 gen slowdown/defense and reasonably good add ons and still almost lost? That isn't very s tier like is it now?
@@lazon906 please elaborate what part doesn't make sense. Also nurse is very clearly the only s tier killer left. Try playing nurse without even one gen slowdown in solo queue. If you are decent at nurse you will stomp solo queue teams without any gen slowdown/defense. Knightlight regularly stomps solo queue teams with nurse but he uses pain res and barbeque when playing blight against solo queue teams, that should already tell you a lot.
@@jasper.rubyftw Supaalf used pain + pop on Nurse for his streak, i don't get your point ? And you forgot the part' that they where on the most unbearable map in the game + the fact that two of the survivors where juicers with meta perks (Claud' and alan being average). And if you put Nurse on her worst map "lery's" she gonna struggle asf if she go against juicer even with godd gen regress, that doesn't mean the killer go from S to B tier, that just mean the odds are against you.
@@Ocktay first of all supaalf only used pop and pain res for insurance. Have you seen his chases with nurse, yeah he barely even "used" the perks in the streak. You aren't seriously comparing blight to nurse right? Blight still has to play around pallets and windows. Not even the most god like blight can play around strong jungle gym, shack or pallet gym pallets. While nurse ignores everything completely even if a average person is playing her they can ignore pretty much everything that survivours have to work with. There is literally no comparison between the two
