I think the straps are there so the cover doesn't come off in bad weather. I've had my motorcycle cover get blown off in a storm when I had to leave the bike outdoors, so it's not really an anti-theft feature so much as a more robust method of keeping your bike protected when used together with a chain/cable lock.

💥💥 Great review. Thanks. What disc brake lock do you have there.?? 🤟🏼. Bummer. I have a 1993 BMW K1100RS and I don’t have a top case so I think it’s going to be really saggy back there. Odd since most bikes don’t have them.

I have an xsr700, first tried the medium but it was way too tight. Went for the large instead, fits very good now.

Velmia is in germany unknow. I ride bmw s1rr since 2011 and have a lot of to do with moto parts but velmia first time and not aviable in german moto shops.
