Pallet slides are really, really fun (and also really, really hard now), so I thought it would be nice to finally have a guide for them! Great tech to know, even if it's not as practical as it once was. Use it to force 50/50s and get crazy hits survivors won't expect!

Something I didn't mention in the video that I know will be asked: Yes, Unicorn Medallion will give you more distance on pallet slides, allowing you to pallet slide longer loops that would otherwise be impossible. The best addon combo for pallet sliding is Unicorn Medallion with Egg (Gold), as Egg allows you to keep more speed as you round a corner, and gives you more time to react to any potential jukes.

Even with all of these glitches removed his skill ceiling will remain pretty high. As a Wesker main I wouldn't care if these were removed they look ridiculous anyway. It's more impressive when his dashes are used to smartly maneuver around the map to cutoff survivors from an area or get hits inside a difficult loop without any glitch-based tricks.

@@Dwight511yea but its 10x more fun and 9/10 impractical its better to just dash then do a hug tech or a pallet slide its just so much more fun than that but ive they removed everysingle survivor tech i think i think id be fine

If I may make a suggestion, whenever you do a guide like this, show the Survivor POV as well. Seeing it from the Survivor's perspective is extremely helpful, IMO.

best part about these is that it is a direct punishment for hold w yellow aura camp pallet for stun. makes it so you can constantly shake up chases it's pretty cool

I really hope that BHVR lets Wesker keep all of these techs, I probably wouldn’t play him nearly as much if they weren’t present.

Sometimes i can grab surv right in the stun moments. Like i did dash, they drop pallet and in this moment i grab him and hit with droped pallet

does playing on 120 fps effect the timing for pallet slides?

no, fps doesn't affect pallet slides except for making it easier by having better input latency and more frames to react to. it's still the same 0.3s window, just with twice the frames and half the input lag, so it's easier but not by a ton

What are your config settings? Trying to get more into the game and until now I enjoyed my game looking pretty but I missed some survivors simply by not seeing them crouching in shadow
