@@sameerkoppal are you aware that Vijayanagara kings were also Telugu rulers? They built temples in whole South of India not just Karnataka.. and the king Sri Krishnadevaraya who built hampi was great Telugu poet as well who wrote Amuthamalyada along with Tamil and Kannada literatures. So please don't divide people based on language, if those kings werent tolerant about language we wouldn't have such a mangificient temples built through out India.

Hampi was one of the best metropolitan city in whole world at that time. But sadly due to invasion by collision of muslim kingdoms in 1565 whole city, temples, knowledge were destroyed.
But if you actually study history from legit resources, you will find that Hindus used to fights each other and destroy each other's temples as a sign of victory. I am sure this is hard to digest but it's important that you know it.
@@siddharthchauhan3661 yes "many" of them were destroyed by invaders, but hampi is a different case early ruler of Vijaynagar maintained good relationship with his neighbours, and the new successor failed to do the same, he was defeated by coalition neighbour forces because he was neither good in politics nor war, don't just see the Hindu muslim angle behind every situation. In ancient/medievial times and even now you have to be super good in protecting yourself/ your empire, otherwise there are always big animals in jungle waiting for you to be weak so that they can hunt you.
