Mark, I have nightmares a lot and very often wake up in pure terror. I suffered from night terrors as a kid and remember being trapped inbetween the stage of sleep and wakefulness, literally walking around my house in this state, being terrorised by demons who would consciously and personally attack me mentally. I remember this even back to probably around 4/5 years old. I still have some days where am apprehensive to go to sleep, like a real like Nightmare On Elm Street😬
I often have hallucinations in the night where I wake up and think I’m being attacked by intruders/monsters/rats and it takes me a solid minute to realise it’s not real. Some laugh.
