Hello Gary and JB, nice to see you together enjoying some of insane food of TH - in my opinion it is the variety of soups ! 😋love it, its a old delish meal culture. The 3-part pan pot is a famous one in many soup stalls and it is stunning - great inventor 👍✌Thy !
Lol I have a freezer full of waggu ( I know a breeder here in Aus) and making a gently slow cooked stew with the sinewy off cuts is absolute heaven. It has such a silky rich glossy texture. Love anything pandan, coconut cream and palm sugar. The heavenly trio of dessert ingredients
Going to be in Thailand in June, will be up around Khon Kaen initially, then have to decide to go down to Surat Thani or head over to where you are today, where is best place to go in your opinion.
My Mrs is from Suphanburi & we have bought land in Cha Am, so been there many many times, to see if it was the right place for us. Last visit back in March, she randomly asked me my thoughts on the local food compared to Song phi nong her home town in Suphanburi, in my humble opinion, I said too sweet compared with Suphanburi, her & her school friend, both laughed & said bang on, her friend lives in Hua Hin. They both said Cha Am/Hua Hin both cook their food too sweet. Now I don't know if this is true over the whole of Petchaburi or Prachuap khiri Khan, currently in those two areas.
Did she call you pig face gaz,or her self😂& I use to think my father was fussy with his food,he would take his own potato 's to Spain & he wouldn't eat beans unless they was heinz 😅
Hey Gary, We're sub's to you channel for a while. I've heard you mention Japanese Food a number of times. as in..... and I'm paraphrasing.....I like Japanese food, bit it's not my favourite.....I'd rather eat this Thai beef curry than grade A Japanese Kobe beef.....How many times have you been to Japan? What is Japanese Food? Do you know on Tripadvisor there are 12 thousand odd restaurants rated in Bangkok? In Tokyo there is over 101,000 restaurants rated on Tripadvisor and the incredible diversity of International food styles! Kobe Wagyu beef is not even rated the best in Japan. Matsusaka Beef is rated as the best in Japan). We've been travelled 9 times to Japan since 2009 and Matsusaka Beef is the best in the world even as raw beef sushi! We've been to Argentina 5 times and it is the only country that comes close to Japan for quality of beef IMO..... Cheers
Why are you so triggered by me saying Japanese food isn’t my favourite? I usually follow that up with ‘I haven’t been to Japan so I don’t really know what true Japanese food is’. Are you Japanese?
