Milk cotton yarn creates these perfect neat looking stitches, I love irt! And it is so soft.

She is probably using polyester, I’m not really sure but I’ve worked with it and let me tell you it makes all my work looks so neat and clean, it’s a heavy type of yarn so if you are planing to make cloths try using Cotton instead it’s up to you you can experiment with it tho, but for projects like wallets, bags, bracelets would 100% recommend polyester it gives it a professional polished look, also one more tip that I learned while working with polyester is that if you don’t want the yarn to undo itself you can heat the ends with a lighter to melt the fibers and mold them together it makes it more durable

Do you hold the stitch on the hook with your finger when inserting the hook to pull up the yarn? Look how she always puts the finger so it stays in place. I also do it like this and my stitches are even, no matter what yarn.

Consistent tension is key for stitches to look the same. Whatever tricks help you achieve that - holding the stitch, wrapping your working yarn tighter to control it, etc. Lots of practice and your preferred tension will become muscle memory.

If you want more tighter and neat looking single crochet, try the cross stitch it work the same as a single crochet but before you yarn over the first time you keep the point of the hook to the floor (I mean the actual hook part where the yarn stays is towards the ground so you see the back towards you) then you yarn over the top and then yarn over the second time like normal! (You should probably watch a video on it because I’m not so good at explaining) 😂😂😂😂

Left over small stuff like that can be kept and used as stuffing ... Or pom poms and fringe poms

I use my leftover to add borders to my work, or make small hearts and flowers for embellishments.

It’s probably leftover yarn from some big project where there was lots left over but not enough for a piece you were doing

I save all my little bits and crochet the same size ones together.

@@MegaTinni yeah, it's really easy, and they always love it. I got a baby wipes travel case at the dollar store and use that as measurement . You can get a 3 pack of diapers there too. Then I gift it all together.

If I’m counting correctly (probably not) it looks like roughly a chain of 19, sc across for unsure amount of rows, sc border possibly 2 stitches in the corners. The folds look to be slip stitching 13 stitches together give or take a couple. Enough rows to get a trifold slightly bigger than a credit card on both folds. Anyone finds differently or knows differently PLEASE let me know!
