To those asking about Lawu, let me tell you that this vlog is NOT about Lawu. It is Felista's vlog. Lawu came to marry and settle down in China. Prior to her coming to China, she was not in the vlogs at all and suddenly everyone is missing her? Give her some space as she will be getting married soon. There's a lot of preparation to be done. Clothes, beddings, guest list, food etc. Paperwork to be done as she a foreigner marrying a Chinese man. She's also spending time with her husband to be and his family. Once she's married, she has her own life to live. She may appear once in awhile but for all you know, her future husband's family may not like or feel comfortable appearing in the videos. Not everyone is willing to be filmed and appear on social media. I am sure Lao Li has to get the permission of the people he is filming before uploading his videos.

I have tried everything on my videos for that not to happen. I have added blank screens, I have taken the end part of the video and freeze that screen. RU-vid will add the endscreens on top of the last part of the video still playing. It is extremely frustrating for the channel creator. But rest assured, we do share in the frustration of the viewers. ❤

There was a video with Felista and her sister talking about making wedding preparations, so I believe that's why we dont see Lawu in front of the camera lately. She has been in several videos but not as visual as before. Lawu is also making preparations for her wedding. I am very happy for the lovely couple.❤ I only hope that we can see her wedding. She and her future husband may be sad because some viewers made unkind comments about her future husband. They may not feel okay about negative remarks. And then when he stopped appearing in his wife's videos after being driven away by mean people, he gets criticized for not showing up and is called "lazy" or "he lets his wife do all the hard work" or "he's not there for his family." People will always have something bad to say. People don't have common sense that Felista is doing this for social media content while her husband is working hard in the background supporting his family. I admire Du Bin. He doesn't care about getting any credit for his hardworking. He did so much for Felista's family while they were in Tanzania and he received zero credit.

Keith, as you can see from her neighbor's question, asking her what the black thing is and from grandpa's expression that it isn't something that they eat. They were just being polite by going along with Felista. It's same as how Felista used dirt to cook the chestnuts in a recent vlog. In ancient times, China probably did use dirt to bake stuff, but not since some time ago now. The people in that village don't eat locusts, but Felista does. So in one vlog, she fried up some locusts. But people in that village don't eat locusts. It's because Felista eats locusts in Tanzania. She's taking her customs along with her to China, which is fine. But she should keep in mind that they are going along with her just to be polite.
Chinese do eat it as does much of indochina. It is an Asian delicacy not african. It is usually used in soups and stir fry. Grandpa checked it because it has the potential to be toxic. Her friend recognized it by a different name. You can look up nostoc algae, fat choi and see for yourself. Don't just go with someone else's judgement and or opinion.😮 Because it is rural China some may not be as familiar or may know it by another name, like her friend. Also Felista washed hers multiple times to remove the jelly and she boiled it before creating her bun filler. It is popular and very expensive in lunar new year dishes.

Y mientras prepara la masa y blanquea el liquen Douduo le enseña a Feir un libro y ya puede decir hasta el 3, un excelente adelanto en su vocabulario y conocimiento. Lao le dice que el bollo será delicioso y Phillys le dice que comerá más. Llega su amiga y le ayuda a preparar los bollos. Es hermoso ver a la familia, amigos y vecinos todos alrededor de una mesa para compartir. Tantos niños felices de comer los bollos. Nobody knows what bun Lao li ate. Nobody knows what jokes were shared between Lao li and Felista about the broken bun. We only heard a bit of Felista joking around. No one chastised Lao li when he teased her about her eyebrows or jokingly said her sister was a "little pretty" when she told him to film her sister because she was beautiful. These two go back and forth like true siblings and their fondness for each other is honest. Please watch more videos and get to know them better.😊

Not Africans my dear , For example in country Uganda we have taboos, very clan has foods that are taboo. More so, we have lots of different food stuffs and different tribes. So every tribe or region has a staple food. Further more for us africans not every animal is edible, Even we export most of the sea animals to countries like china because we don't eat them.. We actually very picky in food stuffs
As a matter of fact we don't eat snails. God forbid. Insect, we all know that there different types of insects that are edible, forexample grasshoppers and ants. They have nutrients and vitamins.
