OK... I have now watched 4 of your f'ckin videos and DAMN... I may be watching another 4 before bloody bed! I cannot afford a Scout just yet, PG pilot who recently got into PPG and still does not know what he does not know. But! I know I LOVE this! I'ma have to save me some money! I love this concept! Great videos, great products (many of my buddies fly Scouts), seriously though, honest, engaging and thought provoking videos all centered around your obvious LOVE of innovation!

would love an electric version since everyone in our areas hated on the loud fuel paramotors so there are no more here where I live. Maybe the future is electric? :)

The great thing about IC engines is the power to weight ratio, batteries retain their weight when empty, fuel tanks don't, but just a matter of time really, electric is the future

I’m not understanding this? Why spend all the money on that pod harness when you can just motor up on a thermic day and shut your engine off seems like a scam to me

Probably it's a matter that you already considered and calculated, but why dont' choose a more aerodynamic cage structure for the Scout Zero? Maybe using less spars or withdrawing on dynamic torque compensation you could reduce quite a bit of drag, crucial on freeflight

Drag was obviously our concern. This is why the whole cage has airfoil profiles, because a simple tube has horrible drag. The dynamic torque compensation is also not 100% and there is leftover torque. We only added only as much DTC as necessary to make the torque during powered flight and take-off acceptable. We tried fewer spars too but the we had to attach the netting to the hoop. Riveting onto the hoop was not an option because the holes reduced the strength of the thin hoop. We tried using the snap-on netting like Parajet Maverick but we did not like it and that you can only use for simple tube hoop (drag again) not for airfoil hoop. We will keep trying in the future. I am sure we will be able to evolve the design but for now this is the best of all options.

Maybe not revolutionizing, but helping a LOT. Where did it happened before, can you show another powered pod harness not a paramotor. …And I really wanted, the only thing 10k is a big bite.

​@@alikn797 It is the only one so far with a real free flight feeling. Unfortunately, the other manufacturers are still sleeping or selling old stuff. Some competition would boost business, but that will certainly take years. Here in Germany especially, most people are taking the wrong path. Nothing useful for ambitious projects or large XC flights. 🤷‍♂️
