I work in an office and for a long time I keep my nails short to be “professional”, during the pandemic we had to wear masks so I couldn’t do my makeup so I started doing my own nails(I became obsessed) they kept getting more intricate, longer and longer…thanks for all the fun ideas.

This feels like sitting chatting with a friend. I love it!

I work in a laboratory. Through out training I wore short square press on’s I bought from Sally’s. One night I sat down and read the employee handbook. I didn’t find anything saying I couldn’t wear acrylic, false nails or long nails. Baby, That was a GREEN LIGHT for me. The next day I came back with a long full set with the 90’s inspired nail designs. I got compliments from managers too. The long full set doesn’t interfere with me doing my job. In fact one of my coworkers told me they like the occasional tapping noises. It’s like asmr for them. Lol

I’ve been doing this for years!!! I have BOXES and BOXES of press on nails that I lay builder gel on and make into tips and bling out, add holo, etc. saves time and money!

I can’t even understand how Evie can do her nails with her non dominant hand, non of the less do acrylic! Like talent! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I’m an accountant and I kept my hair and nails basic in the office. There weren’t any “official” rules but I hated the constant comments every time I changed my hair or had a bright nail color or crazy design. The comments weren’t rude…It just generated conversations with ppl I did not want to have a conversation with lol. I’ve been working from home since the pandemic and I’ve gone crazy with the hair and nails. I’ve rocked every hair color from orange to rose gold. I started doing my nails after watching your videos and I’ve gotten really good. Haven’t been back to a nail salon since. I have my own nail salon set up at home. I do my family members’ nails from time to time. Now my nails can be as long, blinged out and colorful as I want 😊😊😊😊

I was a professor and worked retail, and the past few years, I had longish nails. It was my quarantine project to teach myself, with help from you and Emily Susannah!! Typing was hard at first but you adapt. I even put away truck and stocked shelves, cleaned, whatever! I get so many compliments on my nails so haha. I also get those people asking me how I wiped myself 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I work in the games industry, and before that I worked in law, and I’ve always had longer, “fun” nails hah. It’s always been my form of self-expression and glam for myself! When I was in retail in my younger years, I used to just paint my nails but they’d always chip, which is when I started getting gel nails done. And now here we are 😌

It's funny because I been doing this for a while now when I don't have time to do my nails. It looks just as good as a full set, especially when I bling them out afterwards. If using a longer set, I just encapsulate the whole thing, design and bling. Quick and easy.

I own a cleaning company me and my husband do all the jobs and prior to COVID I went to the salon and had short square nails but during COVID I started playing around and now I make my own press on nails I wear everyday applied with acrylic my go to shape and length are Long coffin/stiletto and yes I make beds scrub bathrooms ect with them on it's rear to see me without nails on... OMG I interviewed for a job and she asked me how much I wanted to get paid and I clearly lowballed myself and she was like "don't worry, I'll pay you more.". Then I came in for my second interview and she was like "well I'll give you raise in three months if you're still here." And it wasn't until six months, I had my evaluation, and she told me she wouldn't give me a raise because I was lacking at my job, and she didn't realize I was so quiet. I was like ???? Girl, I left two months later. How you don't give me a raise because I'm quiet? The job was dumb easy too. All I had to do was answer phones and accept packages.

Yeah they do this with colored tips for ombré. But this is the first time I’m seeing it using the fancy press ons. GENIUS! Thanks so much for sharing this

I'm a tech right now as well! And we're not supposed to wear "unnatural" nail colors and lengths but I break that rule religiously. It doesnt interfere with my performance and tasks so why not? I stay with my XL coffin nude bling nails ✨

Those turned out super cute! Also I love your story times. ALSO Y'ALL that Makartt Rhinestone glue is NO JOKE it is the bomb. I haven't had a single gem, bead or anything fall off since I started using that stuff. And I smack the heck out of my nails sometimes. That stuff almost works too well hahah

I love to see other nails artist are using this nail hack. I have been doing this for the past few years and let me tell you it saves so much time with designing and application. The design I find on these press on nails are so fun but not east for me to do most of the time. I do fade down the bottom of the nail to decrease the indent when using a lighter application to reduce the use of thicker acrylic. Thank you for the idea to apply top coat to keep the print from fading. You did a beautiful nail job. I love this patten.💖

She is so cute with her tutorial. Love her nails and made it simple to follow. I have been doing my own nails since the pandemic hit like most people. I've learned to do dip powder and enjoy it so much I haven't gone to the nail salon in over two years. It's done to my liking. I have worn long nails to work and yes, I work in the office setting where I type ALL day. No one gives me the side eye with my nails as they aren't that fun like hers, but if they are a bit longer for someone else's comfort, then I do get the "oh your nails are long? How do you type?" *Me proceeding to type* LOL. I love this hack so much and will need to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!!

They turned out so well! Also as a soon to be teacher, when I was in training I tested having long nails just to see what they thought about it and I got so many compliments from coworkers and kids (some kids have me weird looks, bit they're kids) and from then on I always did my nails

Being a college student and constantly being on my computer, I still rock some long nails even though I should probably stop lol. I can't help it, I love long nails, they fit me the best. My natural nails grow out long but, I have to put on an acrylic. My natural nails don't wanna stay in one piece lol

I did this with poly gel and they turned out really pretty. Now that it’s warm I can use acrylic outside lol I’ll have to do it again. These are gorgeous!

I am not a nail tech: I use to do something similar when I first started doing my nails. I would use my nail drill to slightly thin out the the inside base of the nail before gluing I on that way it was more flush with my natural nail. It helps to keep the gel or acrylic that you put over the top a bit thinner when trying to hide the transition.

When I worked at the hospital my manager would compliment me on my nails, then whenever she got mad at me she would say “your nails are to long and you need to cut them”! One time I said “this is a fresh set so these aren’t getting cut” for a few days! 🤣🤣🤣

I like to file the bottom of the press ons, shape them to my shape & it’s helped me to keep them on!!

I’m a childminder, trust me when I say I don’t think I could do it *without* nails! They’re not super long, probably the length of these press ons, but having that acrylic stopping my nails bending is everything to me!! I hate the feeling of my natural nails bending, and love having pretty designs on my nails, so nails are essential. I’m my own boss, so I can have them as long as I like, but my personal preference is fairly short so I can still play and paint etc.

I would love to see this with gel, for those of us allergic to acrylic or the smell

I’ve seen other people secure their full cover nails with a layer of acrylic instead of using nail glue I’m wondering how long does that really last because I always do my feet with acrylic and I’ve mastered it but I have yet to do my hands I work a lot so I really wanted to do something that was going to be quick but sturdy

Im glad im seeing this, i've never liked the whole process of getting my nails done especially the filing/sanding down too much causing my natural nails to be weak & thin. Way back years ago when i used to keep my nails done, i asked my nail tech if she could do this same hack to prevent too much damage to my nails and she said no that my nails wouldn't come out right that air and germs/dirt could get stuck between causing problems & infection. I wish i would've just tried it myself because i love this idea completely

I just started doing acrylic a little over a year now, my husband just bought me the whole set to do gels, all different acrylic color powders and the wraps for acrylic to make your own nail. I never done that or the gel yet so watching your videos really help me. Btw im a new sub!

I’m a social worker (government) and I primarily wear the KiaraSky coffin long gelly nails - full length! I also do all kinds of art and crystals and colors, but we don’t have a nail specific rule in dress code. I type on my nails and not my fingers though, so gel tips are both easy and durable enough for the typing my job requires.
