Hilarious episode today. Summoning Tango by intentionally violating Hermit etiquette and being like "Nobody cares, come over here", followed by the bloopers at the end? Absolute gold. Skizz belongs on Hermitcraft for sure, this season is so much better with him in it.

Hahaha the moment when Impulse gets the final skull using Skizz’s sword the very first try is one of my favorite hermitcraft moments of all time! I really hope someone can make an animatic of it, I’d love to see it!

If the fishing loot rules that Grian discovered in his last video also apply to mob drops, then all your skull hunting was essential for Impulse to get those skulls.

Pretty sure mob loot isn't determined that way, if I recall correctly it is based on a random number generated every tick

@@samvsmedia8680 it was like that until 1.20. Now mob drops, fishing loot, bartering and other loot tables are deterministic/based on the seed. I'm not sure why they changed it, but it's helpful to verify speedruns i guess

@@samvsmedia8680 In either 1.20 or 1.21, mob loot was going to be change to be pseudo-random based on the seed. There is a gamerule that can be changed to change it back to the other way

Editing and writing in this episode was especially on point. I loved the idea of playing the time lapse music backwards to do the tear down. Also, as others have pointed out, summoning Tango via the bit was amazing.

I love how Skizz decided to abuse the summoning moderator Tango when he does something against server etiquette gag in order to get help with the fishing slingshot. It is hilarious and it really adds to Skizz's humor and world build. I am so glad I subscribed I didn't realize how funny this would be but every episode I am having a good time laughing.

the pain of having to tear down a big build when you realize you've made a mistake and need to rethink ~ happens to us all. The water columns look good! Could maybe build a moat and connect that to the river to integrate it into the surrounding landscape some more?

Its funny because they actually thought it was the sword's fault that Skizz didn't get any Wither Skele head, and then they swapped swords with Impulse, and the comedic timing of Impy getting a wither skele head on the first try using Skizz's sword is just chef's kiss comedy 😂

No one else but me is going to notice this and be so impressed that they have to comment to say "Wow! Fantastic work!" So, ya ... The subtle increase of speed during the time lapse when building the cactus farm just to time it to the music, followed by the subtle time shift again near the end to really hit the beats on that song?! Absolutely mind blowing! Truly fantastic and word class editing! And ya, I've been working in media most of my life so I'm going to notice. But most people won't and that's kind of the point anyway. The editing isn't there to be the star after all. But to me? Dang! Absolutely phenomenal! Thanks for putting so much time and effort into your videos!

absolutely love the antics this episode with the terrible luck that rivals grian's. plus summoning tango through his helpful "don't be that guy" guide mode to help is so clever! also, minecraft treats lateral movement differently. but you can preserve momentum if you have an elytra, or maybe knocked back by an explosion

I really like the water columns from a visual standpoint. A lot of the hermits like to use similar color blocks in their builds to create their gradients (no problem with that), but sometimes a sharp contrast in colors can really make a build pop.

I have not tested either of these recently. But, for horizontal launching, two things I've seen in the past are: - Entity-powered cannons (Having a huge number of entities in one spot and getting launched by bumping into it. A bit unfriendly to the server's perfromance though!) - TNT-cannon powered (Using Turtle Master potions, full blast prot, etc- getting launched by a bunch of lit TNT all on one block. Such as having a stack of dispensers, all with TNT.)

The reason the pig boats didn’t have much horizontal momentum is probably because people were on either side for the launch. You should try doing it in the boat with the same setup from this episode where everyone is on the one side!

Fun fact: It is (sort of) possible to get two Wither skulls from one wither skeleton! Since a wither skull is wearable, there's a small chance that a wither skeleton can wear a wither skull that's already dropped (in the same way that zombies can wear armour, for example) and when you kill them, the skull that's worn and the actual skull can be dropped :)

Hey, Skizz. I have an interesting observation on the boat launchs. The boat/Player always went further when the person counting off the pull wasn't using a fishing rod. And Grian was always counting and fishing when the bigger group was doing sideways flings

I think something cool for the pyramids would be to make sections dedicated to each part of the hierarchy and to access it you have to do the thing it's about, like eat something to gain access to the food part and drink a water bottle for another, sleep in a bed to unlock another etc.

I feel for you, the pain. I used to play EverQuest I spent 6 months of my life. Sleep, shower, work, food, EQ, sleep... all my game time trying to get Targin the Rock to spawn in Sol B. Get home from work, log in find out he'd been killed 2 times while I was at work, 6 hours later I've killed many placeholders with 0 luck and it's time to sleep.

Haha! Id love to see the running joke of Tango popping in as your guide from tango's POV. Like he could be mid doing something in his video then all of a sudden teleport to you for your bit and then have to walk all the way back like he had no choice but teleport to you, mumbling to himself about the long journey back.
