Magdalene Janet has oily skin, reviewed this product and had the same experience as you with it looking bad initially but looking better once her oils came through. Also she tried a water based & silicon primer but both peeled up under this product. It’s a hard pass for me and I appreciate ladies like you two giving honest reviews 🙂

Thank you! I got the scarf a long time ago on Amazon. It was a 4 pack, all the same print but different colors. I thought they had more stretch to them though, there’s no stretch at all but I use them every night

I love this formula and I also wear Terra 8.5. The previous Complexion Rescue was ok, but made me oily. I had to blot all the time. I apply this one a few minutes after my moisturizer. I put a bit of mattifying primer just in my t-zone. Then I wait a few more minutes and apply this tinted moisturizer with my fingers. Do not put powder on top of it. Just a setting spray. It lasts all day and I don't have to blot at all.

I think best way to apply tinted moisturizer is with your fingers. It’s a moisturizer with a tint. So it will blend nicely with the warmth of your fingers than a brush.

Per the instructions you can use a brush or your fingers. They even suggest using their smoothing face brush with this. I use a brush with all other tinted moisturizers and never have this issue. I would imagine with this consistency, your fingers would apply more pressure and pull the product even more, causing it to be more uneven, but I am going to try again with my fingers and see how it goes

I also have it in Terra. The first time I applied it after my moisturizer and the finish wasnt great. It was patchy and a weird texture. The second time I applied it to bare skin like a moisturizer, using my fingers and the finish was beautiful. I have oily skin. I guess each person will have different results depending on what you use in addition to, how you apply it. I feel a sponge would probably soak up alot of product. I haven't tried it with a brush. Your skin is beautiful and this looked wonderful on you. Try it on bare skin and see if you like it better. thanks for the review

Hi! Do you think this is primarily a skin tint or more of a tinted sunscreen?

I would treat it as a skin tint because you would have to put a lot of it on in order to get the sunscreen benefits, so definitely still use another sunscreen underneath

I did shake the bottle as I do with all new foundations, I guess I didn’t get that on camera or I cut it out. I start with my cheeks because I always want more coverage there
