Great video! Please don't let manufacturers know that you don't know why their product is very cheap, this will encourage them to put prices up and we don't want that!
LightwaveRF switches are the best in my opinion. People don’t even need to know they are smart switches. But you get all the benefit of smart switches.
Bought LightwaveRF for my house as well as the sockets, and best of all they work if the network is offline. That switch is a means to an end but it looks fucking awful.
Hi I use these since almost 2 years now. They’re quite good. But when programming them with Home+ you can get 36 actions. Like Button 1 pressed once turn on light only if off and if light on turn it off. So one action two functions through if statements. HomeKit has this kind of things on board but only apps like Eve, Home+ or controller give you the access. I use more motion sensors with certain times and virtual homebridge switches for day mode … and paired with Lightsensors it gets a quite big setup …
I love this! I’m into the Hue ecosystem so I have about 5 Hue dimmer switches that I’ve assigned scenes to and printed graphics similar to yours. I love that this one you showed technically has 18 programable buttons!
We have a similar video coming up soon from our updated button switch from last year. And Aqara is just the best. There is updated versions of the switches on Amazon. And they are about £20 as well. But they don’t do the 6 button option anymore
Adopted one of these into my Home assistant environment just under a year ago, after seeing the control4 wall mounted scene switches. Works amazingly, also means people stopping are able to work the smart home compared to needing to know the specific commands via Google and Alexa. Another device I’d recommend is the aqara cube, it may seem gimmicky at first but using it as a media controller worked treats for my home cinema
I was able to order the wemo stage controller to the UK from Amazon US. Worked out about $11 shipping. Got 3 of them. They are really awesome and instant with Thread.
I have never understood how someone can remember all the movements of the cube. Not to mention the rest of the family/guests who have not set it up themselves 😕
if talking Philips hue devices i found just un-plugging the Ethernet to the hue bridge and putting it in a different port from the router while both on worked.
This comment shows up at every "smart"home video of his. It is true, but he is not competent enough to use it. Also they probably wouldn't sponsor him and his recommendations follow the money
