You can test if the hot comb is too hot by placing it on a paper towel. If the paper towel turns brown then it’s too hot for the hair

I find that pressing the front in small sections working my way up to the top rather than just pressing the top helps it to lay SUPER flat.

Tip: Don't test the hot comb on your hair..your hair will melt and there's no use in damaging your wig. When you take it out of the little oven, lay it down on a towel. If the towel has a comb Burn mark, it's way too hot. Wipe it across the towel a few times, blow on the comb, place it back on the towel THEN place it on the hair. This oven is old school. Not many people nowadays know how to work it correctly but it gives great results with pressing and curling hair. You'll really only find these in Black salons...all OTHER salons, everything is Electric...Flat irons, plug in curling irons etc. Electric irons aren't really great for hair. The oven's heat is better! ;-) You did a great job...it looks super pretty!~

I don’t have a hot comb but after watching this vid, it gave me the idea to use my curling iron to flatten the top of my hair topper. It looks so much more natural now and I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner 🤦🏻‍♀️ thank you! 🙏🏼

The back of the hot comb is what actually does the straightening not the teeth. Try sectioning your wig and hot combing the top and bottom of the section. It will help you avoid going over sections repeated. You wig is very pretty. It looks quite natural.

You are so pretty! I can tell you Young ladies didn't grow up getting your hair pressed with the "pressing comb." I'm a child of the 60's and yes it's the back of the comb that does the straightening. Not the teeth. 😍

Test ur hot comb on a napkin. If it burns the napkin it will burn ur hair. If it doesn’t burn the napkin then it’s safe for it hair 👍🏽❤️

Heeey Simone! Thank you for your videos!!! I always learn sooooo much from your videos! Here's a trick! After you take the hot comb out of the stove lay it on paper towel, if it burns the paper towel and turns medium to dark brown its too hot!

ZALA IS Amazing!! Hot comb is the best . but because people donotnknownhow to use the temperature they are afraid to use these and they take more time you have to wait for them to cool off and heat up so plug ins world best for quick styling. but the Marcel curlers is always the best effect it assures your curl or flattening process .
