Omni Core is sadly trash nowadays. I remember the old Shard where you could use double Hammer with more range and I think he even got Stat Nerfs 🥲 Even Topson the Great can‘t revive the old Omni 🙏
if they want omniknight to be relevant again they need to lower the 2nd skills cd, for a normal skill it has the cooldown of an ulti. he just doesnt hit as hard as before whether carry, mid or support. even with the extra hammer for the shard back then he just doesnt scale well or give a considerable impact to turn the game over. maybe remove the charges for his ulti and add the charges to purification or repel so you can at least snowball early game and scale well into the mid and late
The problem I face with omni core is the third item, echo->harpoon, BKB and then what? SnY is decent but doesn't really improve the build that much, basher is nice but its always nice not a lot of improvement as attack speed is quite low, crit items doesn't make much sense either. A lot of items are decent but doesn't elevate the build, they are just decent. Compare to hero like AM BF, manta and then you have lots of good 3rd item to choose from depending on the game that elevate your build, for example basher will significantly improve your kill potential in a game where you can run with lower hp, or skadi to get a bit tankier that still improves your kill potential, etc. Omni is dominant in the early stage of the game but falls off as items don't really elevate you that much in my experience.
