@@VictorkillZhonestly truly crazy watching someone go from total newbie inexperienced to great. Catching daltos pulling off a Rez as well was pretty good
For those not aware, there is an archaic meaning of boner in which it means a hilarious screw up in stead of its modern meaning. I am pretty sure that Zoey bringing up Joker's boner was a reference to an old Batman comic where the word (in it's archaic meaning) was used excessively. I'm not sure if the rest of the group picked up on that, though.
Even better, the comic repeatedly has them talking about "pulling a boner," not just saying the word. That phrase meaning something like "making a foolish mistake" means that, in context, it's just a comic about Joker trying to make Batman look like a fools while Batman turns things around on him, but reading that comic now is freaking hilarious. There are headlines in it like "Batman pulls boner at own lecture," "Batman's greatest boner," and "Joker pulls boner of the year!!" It's the kind of thing that wouldn't even be funny if it were fake, because it would be trying too hard. The fact that it's real, though, makes it one of the greatest things ever made.
Ben: "Now I'm thinking about the Joker's boner." Duncan: "I was thinking about Harley's quinn." Rythian really chose the best TTT recording to skip out on, didn't he?
21:00 Zoey can be seen clearly cooking a Red Matter Bomb, which according to Rulebook 5 Chapter 8 Subsection 2, "Ethical Usage of Weapons of Mass Destruction", is clearly an illegal move.
I love the interaction of Duncan having a red matter bomb, Nilesy killing him and taking the bomb, and then Duncan as the parasite coming back, taking the bomb again, and throwing it.
@@shinbo1024 Rythian, Horny Lawyer at Law. Whatever it's for, he'll GET YOU OFF! ...and that's why Ben was in jail. (EDIT: Wait, wasn't ZOEY in jail that time? Dangit, I need to rewatch that... SOMEONE deserved to be in jail then, that's for sure.)
Lewis getting that jump scare on Zoey was such a justified feeling. Given what she did to him in a few older videos this year (Or late last year). Haha.
I just realized why I love Gmod TTT from the Yogscast so much, It's so eerily close to what the Yogscast has always done best, playing fun games having a good time and displaying some light acting.
@@potatopossum1 I just don't think it's all that funny. If there was a lesson in improv about "yes, and?" then Lolip seems to run on "No. So what? Shut up."
No clue where people are getting idea dead ringer gives any form of protection aside from the invisibility and the decoy corpse. You always take the full damage on trigger hits (which in the past always surprised the yogs when they got 1-shot and the ringer didn't save them) and hope the other guy doesn't luck their cross hair over you
Too bad there isn't a way to make the Shadow role require looking at their target instead of being in a radius. Currently it's just way to easy to troll the shadow and kill them with the whole radius thing.
Yeah it kind of is in a weird spot. I think Shadows should play like Soulmates where no matter the team of your ally you team-up until the end but currently they just mess with the Shadow. I think same radius just more forgiving on how long you can stay away. Maybe you take poison damage outside the radius but rapidly heal when next to the person you're shadowing. That way you can move out, gun down the opposition, then meet up with your buddy to heal back to full. Almost like a henchman or toady. And/Or give the Shadow some stats like faster move speed but less health like a Loot Goblin so they can't be outrun by the shadow. It would probably break GMod and end up in stuck players but a way to teleport back to your person (maybe limited uses or on cooldown) would be fun and flavorful.
honestly the shadow would be a lot better if any of them just remembered you can kill your target and walk all over their grave if theyre messing with you, but i agree with the insta kill after 5 seconds being too much - 10-20 dps would be fine, but i dont think healing when close would be needed with that
I hate to be that guy, but something about Lollip consistently talking over the entire episode is so irritating. Lewis having to cut off the intro because Lollip won't stop screaming is just one example.
yeah i know right. that and being kinda aggressive with blaming people, being generally bad at the game, and the weirdly forced sexual jokes had me a little bit annoyed.
@@NateyCat And that’s completely okay! I just don’t personally love when things get chaotic, I like hearing them all talk and just joke around with each other. We definitely all have our own preferences though!
A great pink role would be an infectious jester, that when you kill them, you become a zombie as well. Basically a swapper, but they also stay a swapper.
The general cyberpunky colour scheme, boxes and skybox as well as the trap reminds me of a certain old roguelike shooter - quite like Ziggurat but... Cyberpunk or cyber-themed. I recall it because TotalBiscuit did a first impression movie on it but for the love of me I can't recall what the game was called.
I wonder if it's worth adding an in-game UI element that shows the currently active randomat(s)? (Though if 'shh it's a secret' is activate it only shows that one and not the other)
