I'm really not sure if this is irony or not. But Noita is the game where you can make a wand that summons a black hole that summons a bigger black hole that summons a even bigger bigger blackhole that summons a sheep. There is no "correct way" of playing this game.
My first god run started with homing perk, trigger spark bolt, circle of thunder and damage mods. One cast was enough to kill everything up to a screen away, sometimes further. Just one word of warning if you start playing around with the circles, whenever the game unloads a block of the world because you went too far from it, it retains the still active spells in it indefinitely (stopping their timers until you return to that block), but resets their ownership to neutral or something. So if you're doing a long run where you go back and forth between layers, beware of any possible leftover circles, because they might not home in on you, but they will still affect you if you touch them. Getting polymorphed by your own circle of transmogrification is a tragic way to go.
@@prolapses Any spell you casted, literally any would homing at you. Half of the spells has friendly fire, bombs, dynamites also would be death sentence. You also cant dig it temples with acid or blackholes. The only reason you wanna pick this is to do experiment with spells and stacking perks as repulsion field.
@@prolapses sure maybe if I *needed* damage I might take it. But In that scenario I’m going to start finding whiskey to dump that trash in a perk alter. Boomerang breaks wand setups in return for damage which at that point, you should already have plenty of. If anything it lowers your possible play-styles and not using 99999+ damage spells feels like ultimate weak sauce.
@@prolapses its also trash for boosting blackhole speed. Hole that you made it probably wont be straight so you also cant dig into parallel world with ambrosia. Which basically one of the main things why you even need a blackholes at the first place - dig temples, dig parallel worlds, dig orbs. Any alternative damage boosts would be better.
@@murasakidevil I have little Noita experience but whenever I find the boomerang perk I instantly take it because it makes all luminous drills long range. Of course this is a large gamble on if I can even find that one spell and a wand that can support it but it's a very powerful setup
You can replicate this without eggs. Just get the invisible perk and the boomerang will search out targets until it tracks you again. this is just as if not more powerful because it lets you retract the fields when you feel like it.
Everyone calling boomerang spells a bad perk, meanwhile I'm picking it up every run I can. Literally my favorite perk. I've made some bomb ass builds with it.
This being said I've only just recently beat the boss for the first time, and haven't had any actual long runs yet. But I stand by what I said because it was with boomerang spells and a chainsaw that I was able to beat the game.
@@Edgariki as busted as chainsaw absolutely is, and I'm sure there are other options in terms of giving chainsaw range, I must attest, as boomerang spells also increases strength and range for some spells. It just suits my playstyle very well.
bouncing spells also increases proyectile lifetime( and therefore range) so its a much better alternative for those kinds of builds. Similarly, the path spells like chaotic path also increase proyectile lifetime
What this makes me curious about is if this means you could activate a boss, run away to a respectable distance, then have this slowly scratch it to death.
that's it I'm doing a unstable poly run, probably add some more hatred just to tweak the difficulty. thanks fury this is definitely going to lead to some chaotic fun runs.
Of course. Eye iconography has been prominent in Noita since the beginning, but they all might not play a role in solving the secret eye messages. There’s still a lot of work being done to solve those...but with no actual big leads so far.
Dang, that's bonkers! I've never considered these spells, but I'm a low-tier player in the first place. Next time I fire up Noita, I'll give this a swing.
This is why I love Noita! There are no rules - you can do ANYTHING you want to get to your goal. Any, even the most non-obvious random combination can give nothing, or become an unstoppable OP and destroy you along with the whole world.
Definitely cool, but tbh it just seems like an interesting way to save on some homing, damage plus and other spells you could achieve the same effect with if you happen to get this perk Wouldn’t say it’s game breaking. Altho it would be difficult to replicate the power of this honing maybe you’d need divide by homing or smthn idk
I'm curious as to whether or not this has been patched in the recent batch of patches. Though it probably will be, soon, if it hasn't. Or they'll modify it to work a bit differently. Who knows?
Hey fury, i dont remember which video it was you pointed out the spider statues in the end boss room have hitboxes. Has anyone tried using necromancy on them? Maybe they're not statues...
You can probably do this with propane tanks, with better results than explosive boxes right? Since they deal physics damage upon collision as well as the explosion itself. Of course, you probably kill yourself with either method, but still.
I wish you would have shown if it works with rock (since it has infinite lifetime by default). Or with more advanced builds summoning infinite lifetime spells.
I showed all the spells it works best with. I didn’t show more advanced builds because the entire draw of this trick is that it’s something very easy and simple to put together, and extremely powerful for that simplicity.
Unfortunately, this particular trick doesn't work with rocks. You can, obviously just slap a homing on a rock spell and have a fun physics friend, but this trick is actually MUCH more powerful than that, since these can go right through walls and kill things across the entire biome long before you even see them.
Without boomerang spells, the omega saw will boomerang back to you, not enemies. You could put the homing spell modifier inside with the saw, but it won’t have an extremely long range like this. What makes this so powerful is that it will hunt down every enemy in a very large radius. It’s definitely best, easiest and safest with circle of spells, like stillness, since it will literally hunt down every enemy inside of, for example, Hiisi Base, and kill most of them before you can even see them. You’ll just walk around in halls full of ice sculptures.
Hello Maistro, I actually may not be doing it. It’s been so long, and I’d have to wait even longer for all the mods I want to use to be updated, that it may just be something that I *get* to do eventually if all the major mods update.
As long as you drag the egg out of your inventory, it does not. The same thing can be done with tablets to ensure you always get a trick kill with them (important for maintaining pacifism on some runs.)
