I think the dark souls cheese is actually a reference to the shortcut system the game has. Or the dev just didn't wanna clear. Yeah, probably the last one
I appreciate the editor adding what song is playing on-screen. I'm too much of a nerd and know what the songs are anyway but I appreciate it nonetheless. Nesamons has improved so much as an editor it's amazing honestly.
That last level is the kinda thing thats super fun for the level creator cuz they know what to expect, and then super rough for everyone else trying to piece together what to do
the way to pass the thwomp block room at 12:14 was to take damage using the yellow spike block at 11:58, there was 1 block of space for toadette to stand, but the cat suit makes your character 1.5 blocks wide

That first level is EXACTLY like dark souls. 1. You come in with expectations of hellish difficulty because that's what was told to you before by the internet. 2. It's actually not exceptionally difficult at all, just somewhat above average difficulty with a few curveballs here and there. 3. The videos of people playing it online (in this case, you) are 95% "trying to figure out how to cheese" and 5% "repetitive input challenge to cheese". So in that sense, this is a perfect example of how this is the dark souls of mario maker levels.

Good morning! I actually went to watch this just before bed but it's technically morning in my timezone. You outplayed the troll level pretty good, it was a respectable troll level honestly, classic dumb bullshit with some new ideas that were actually cool, standard Mario Maker fare. SPEEN was also pretty cool. Vinny's in GBJ and Simple is stuck in the Dwellings fighting moles.

I've had a new idea. Cunk E Cheeses. It's a 2 hour long troll level with a super tight BLJ bypass. It might take 2 hours, it might not take 2 hours. It's 50/50 on whether or not you get cunked hard, or you cheese the shit outta it. Either way it'll take 2 hours.

There is 1 and only SimpleFlips laugh 8:07 Day 8: Remember when i said i would do the remake challenge on VII? Well here am i who got all the materia and escape Midgar in part 1 which i passed the Remake progress but the goal of this challenge is beat the game only in LV 50 with equipment,armor,acessories and materias which shows up in part 1 on the remake.
You see, the thing about the damage boost pick-a-door is that the person who was smart enough to figure out the On/Off switch would implicitly understand the psychology and assume that the level creater would make the obvious one the safe one b3cause of it, so the level creator made the obvious one the dangerous one again to spite the people who made it that far.
Okay the damage boosting puzzle with the on off switch in the desert level was legit kind of clever. The rest of the level was dumb, but that one trap was pretty neat
