A short video of the [OFS] Huskarl Dropship by Marneus_FR on Space Engineers, the Huskarl is a very fast and maneuverable Ultra-Compact drop ship that can carry up to four seated personnel with a dual tandem cockpits for the pilot, and co-pilot, that carries quite a significant amount of firepower for its size which makes it a great combat drop ship for survival, it's not quite perfect though

Similar to the Cutlass Black in both form and function. I like it! The lack of fuel time would be my only concern here - the longer it can stay in the air, the longer it can support the troops on the ground. I think the light armour actually helps it here. Also, Cutlass Black review when? xD

Ye u wu kinda makes me want to multicrew a cutlass black with a friend on SC xD and yeah, having too much fuel might not be needed though for the supposed role but I would certainly add some smaller auxiliary tanks in the middle section just in case x3 And xD we'll see u wu

It's a Great looking ship. With a few modifications, you could extend the nacels and squeeze in a large side thruster to port and starboard, and in the crew cab, a survival kit.

Yeah u wu and oo x3 that would definitely help with the side thrust c= which can be useful for being able to tilt in gravity without falling down x3 and ye having a survival kit would be nice too u wu ♥

Cool design. Get those hydro tanks covered is my only crit. But nicely designed indeed.

Having those being more covered would certainly be nice c= maybe just a little though to protect against small arms fire since heavier armor might make the ship too heavy x3 and ye u wu ♥ the creator did a great job with the design x3

the only interest of many air vent in a place is to fill it and depressurize it faster, I agree that with the size of this habitat 1 is largely enough For exemple on a ship I made the hangar is having 8 vent and still take 7 sec to empty or fill of air (I like to work on my small grid within a presssurize space)

And the extra PCU is effectively "free" if you run you conveyor lines efficiently and use full variant air vents.

I love designs like this! SE can look pretty realistic when creators lean into the “art style” that the blocks allow for.

you can fill the cabin and cockpits with air while its docked, since its a drop ship, the air supply doesnt need to last long, just long enough to shoot a little, land the troops, and return to base (can also have oxygen bottles in the cockpits so the pilots can have extended supply incase they need to stick around and fight for longer)

I guess that makes sense x3 I just prefer ships to be mostly self-sufficient u wu but yeah having the crew carry their own oxygen bottles will definitely help x3

Yep, it looks like Drake Cutlass but shortened in the same way as the A319 is to A320

I was close to different aspects of parts of this ship in different builds of mine... but the exposed hydrogen tank is the biggest weakness of this ship. I could theoretically try my take on this ship sometime.

it's a drop ship, most major threats to it should be handled by fighters running SEAD though it's certainly capable of doing some of that itself, I'd say that the bigger weakness is lack of cargo as your drop ships will likely be one of the main ships you use to shuttle cargo as well, hangar/pad space is limited so a truck for crew is a truck for cargo
