IS-8 is actually my favorite tier 9 tank. Very good gun, okay mobility and troll armor just like Obj 268. The gun depression can be a bit annoying but somehow even though the IS-8 is taller than the IS-3, I actually use the IS-8 on ridge lines more often. But I always wish that it had more gun depression (6 is enough for me), thicker turret and upper plate but I think that is probably the tank balancing factor.
Funny story: my clan mates were going on abt the tank being bad and a horrible stock experience. Personally ive never played the tank stock so i had no opinion on it, but i still thought fully equipped, it was great, so to prove it, i said watch how well i do. Over 4 games i got all loses, but did 3.5k avg in the first three, and got a 5.6k ace (still lost) on the last one. At the end tho, i noticed my max roll was 500 (should be 525) apparently i accidentally equipped the second gun, so i was running a worse gun on a tank that my clan mates claimed was bad, and still was able to peform extremely well in it. Just thought that was kinda funny
I'm really looking forward to the HD model of the IS-8, which will look just as beautiful with the HD model as the T-10 from World of Tanks PC, can't wait.
YES. I need more post-latest update IS-8 gameplays from experienced players so I can survive longer, and fight more effective in Asia server. Because I'm currently having it in my garrage for grining IS-7.
I think it was more the skill than the tank that saved the second game. I personally struggle with tanks with no gun depression, and did not enjoy it during my IS7 grind, but it was before the upgrade, so it may be just the PTSD talking:). Thank you for another great review!
I'm a below 50% player but that figure doesn't give a true reflection of my ability. I made the mistake of grinding multiple tank lines on normal battle mode when I first started the game as a free to play player. Destroyed my win percentage learning the right way to grind.
The main reason why IS-7 is in that line is because 1) IS series. 2) ISes usually have identical playstyle. Reverse Sidescrape and being fast. Which IS-7 have all of those. 3) IS-8 should be actually a tier X than a Tier IX. IS-8 AKA T10M actually have strong armor. I think this is the only Heavy tank that built in with Composite armor. So yeah. If IS-8 being a bit more realistic. It would be basically a Faster IS-7. While IS-7 drop to tier IX. Imagine that for a sec. IS-7 fight Tier VIII Tanks.
They should make is-8 into another line, the t-10 and is-5 IS the also t-10 but some sort of prototype they should make obj. 260 as Tier 9 because it's literally the prototype of is-7
in the first tech tree release on PC, the is4 at tier 9 lead to the is8 at tier 10 then I'm assuming the is7 look to good irl to leave out so they moved things around

Yeah i am just finished grinding the IS-7 and i miss so much the gun handling of the IS-8. There are some tank lines in the game that have tier 10s that dont play at all like the rest of the line they belong to, for example the 183, you go from 3 heavy armored front line TDs to end up in the 183 wtf ?
@@elvisrodriguez7100 premium doesn't mean its always better than tech tree. Like there many tech tree tier 9 tanks that can crap on premiums. Like for example the obj 752 is the most popular t9 premium and some say its even broken. But no cuz tanks like E75, M5yoh absolutely desimates the 752. And The tech tree 50tp > Regressor. Cuz tech tree 50tp has more armor and it gets tungsten so premium tanks arent always better than tech tree
am i the only one who had insane luck? yesterday i did a few awesome draws i got like 2k gold from it, i bought 10 is2 shielded piece, then i bought 2 mystery boxes, i got a mystery certificate, i got the t 22 medium, and then my friend opened a collect 'em all container and he got and is3 defender, and today i did the bourrasque draw, i got a collect 'em all container and i got a leKPZ M 41 90mm, then i did another bourrasque draw and i got the bourrasque, then i then i did the bourrasque draw on my mini account, i got nothing, i did another one and i got the bourrasque again
^^^ All was gonna sound good, until ya side YOU bought x 10 of the IS.2 shielded pieces = WHY ? Why would you BUY x 10 pieces, when it's being given away for FREE for just signing in ? (makes no sense !) Incidentally, Yeah, I too have had SOME fortunate luck, especially with the Borrasque-Batchat DRAW.... Got a "Chimera" out of the B-B DRAW for just a laughable "20 in Gold" = About as Lucky as a Player can get !! I also won another TWO Tier.8 tanks, both just before & just after this = American T.34 & T.25E5 "Sherriff" I also (earlier) won the Australian tank (T.6) the "Sentinal.IV" but kinda groaned when THAT dropped The latter came from a "Mystery Certificate", but the (far) better tanks ALL came from "Collect 'Em All" crates Pretty much used up my Gold now - (sighs) - But is always worth picking up just a small amount for the DRAW

Do you guys play blitz on Pc? I tried on my xiaomi 10s and it is a very irritable exp. Enemies pop up, pop off constantly and snap shot like they re using 11 fingers playing. And I just turn around and hit dirt.
IS-7 heavily armoured beast whatever heavily ammo racked tank is IS7 is doo doo same with the IS-8… what I hate is when RU-vidrs look at players stats just because they are playing how they want to play… saying people below 50% going to A on that first game I’m a 51% and I also go to A and I won all my games there even with the not the best of teams but I don’t go out looking at WR just because the play style has changed it’s called adapt to change the meta and play style for every map is going to change if your going to like it or not and he had to point out everyone that is camping is so irrelevant to the video.. I felt like this whole video was him saying how bad teams are and wr this wr that and not about the tank itself aside from the start sorry just my opinion and if this gets taken down then it’s proven he can’t take other opinions to his own hand and respect it
whenever heavy goes to medium side, you say "whats the point of playing heavy if you dont go heavy side" and there u are another video where you play heavy and go to medium side, whats the point of playing heavy? :D
