This USED TO BE Ricky Wysocki's Favorite Disc - Innova Pig - [Bag it or Bin it?] 

I love the pig. It's like a Zone and a Berg had a cute, chubby baby. The only reason I don't bag one is that I bag a Zone and a Berg, so it would overlap with both.

I love the Pig. I prefer the R-pro since its easier to get and a little bit less dying in the end

I love the pig. When I first got it, it just lazily went straight and slightly faded while plopping to the ground. Now that it's beat in, it's a straight, reliable flyer

I do think the Pig is more glidey than the numbers indicate. BTW I did a video comparing the Pig and the Zone and I put the Pig at 4 2 0 3 in that video. And then Innova updated their flight numbers to indicate the faster speed. Basically it has a very thick 1.4cm rim, which is massive for a putter, so they put it into the midrange category, but not with the 5-speeds since the profile is very anti-aerodynamic. That's why they had it at 3 initially, but it's really a small-diameter midrange in my opinion. Incidentally I've bagged the 2019 Ricky Wysocki Tour-Series Pig since I picked mine up - and it's only left my bag after I replaced it with an R-Pro one (I like that it's softer and bounces even less). The Pig is super easy to hold and throw, and it won't skip, bounce, or roll far (typically). It's not super stable because of aerodynamics, rather it's due to so much of the weight is distributed to the very large rim. That Thumbtrac contributes to the low aerodynamics, which is why the rim profile can look like that, yet still be overstable. Absolutely love the Pig!

The Pig is my son's favorite disc. He uses it for short par 3s and upshots up to 200 feet. Because they aren't expensive, he has a bunch of them and is very comfortable/confident with the way the mold feels with those throws. Thanks for featuring it. Good work, sir.

Your content is awesome. One of the better disc golf channels right now. Keep it coming. One thing though man. You can't decide what you bag based on your putting!!!!! You have to base it on the disc and if it does what you want it to do. If that disc is getting you 25 footers like that it is doing its job. You should bag the pig sir.

I bag both a Zone and a Pig and you are spot on they are a very similar flight with a completely different hand feel. So why have both? I just like the hand feel on the Zone a little better for forehands and the Pig for backhands.

The Pig is pretty much a sure winner, a low-glide low-skip approach disc with really good stability that feels great in the hand. It fits so well into so many shots on most courses. It reminds me a lot of the way a firebird gets used as a utility disc. Lots of control and predictability.

THE R-PRO is the only pig you need much grippier but also doesnt beat up easy best disc ever

I like the zone for late fade, the harp for a smooth constant fade, and the anvil for a massive fade

I have a few Ricky pigs and I really enjoy them as an over stable mutter (mid range/putter) for forehands and backhands as well as for a head wind putter. I’ve bailed so many head wind putts with it. The R pro glow plastic IMO to me is perhaps the best plastic out there for the sweet balance of grip, and stability. They also wear in nicely so bagging a few for differing stability is a major plus. I pair mine with my harps so I have a glidey and less glidey combo.

No🐷o! I just got that same exact design 🐖 and it instantly became my best putting putter ever which I realized before I made it to the 13th hole today, also it throws good and straight too! Definitely get another one if you haven't yet.

I was a zone person until recently when I picked up a used pig to try it out, I soon figured they are great for forehand upshot’s but unlike the zone they go the same distance or Eve. Sometimes further than that of my midranges

The pig is a good complement to the berg. The berg does not have the fade. I have both.

I retired my tour series pig to hang on the wall, I got a raptor eye slammer to take the slot. Has more glide but does what I need to get the job done

I would recommend a Ti Flx Zone instead of the Cryztal Flx. Flies the same, beats in the same, but it stays more pliable and has more grip in the cold. I dont notice much difference when its warm.

The rpm kea is the BOMB if you want an overstable approach. Zone, harp and tactic killer. Please try it out.

i use the R-Pro 177 gram Mid-Range Pig for putting and Putter version for windy and hilly situations.. theyre both also great for sticking a landing when you want to make sure it doesnt role OB .. Love this disc!

No difference in Ricky and Bradley Williams runs. I have a stack of both. The 2020 runs of Ricky pig (before they went all purple in 2021) are slightly stiffer. A little more OS, a little more glide. But all the purple ones are the same, regardless of stamp.

I believe they recently reclassified the pig as a 4 speed

FLX Zones are great. You definitely need one.

God Area 51 is brutal in the summer. I bag both the zone and the pig. The pig is so great for putting a forehand right next to the basket but the zone is so much better for skip approaches or full power backhands

What a ridiculous question!! It’s one of the best! The r pro is the one. Pro pig a little more stable. I own like 7 and 6 socki slammer (which is DD’s Pig). Prefer the R-Pro Pig though especially beaten in.

I wanted to like the Pig, but I have a hard time not throwing my sidearm wobbly with it.

A brand new pig definitely would’ve given you that overstability you were looking for. R-Pro plastic beats in really well so it loses that overstability rather quickly
