Bro I hate fighting the fusions😭

Videl is an especially annoying char to fight when they use her in that way. She's already one of the harder characters to block, add in mashing and spot dodge > DP, you're gonna have a bad time.

@@MullilluM I was talking more about the player but she definitely has become quite the threat these days. I just don't like fighting mashing playstyles because not only is it hard to predict someone who doesn't know what they're doing, but mashing in DBFZ is actually rewarded too. It's not like mashing doesn't have counterplay but superdash and vanish help closing the gap more than they should.

I'm basically a retired videl player, left after they released the patch that made her 5LL whiff when blocked it's a surprise that other videl players are MASHING, when they have so much better tools, like the staggers with her 4M (the hitbox is deceiving at close-mid range), and all the potential mixups with an assist just hope that DBFZ 2 is less "party-game" like, that 5LL patch on videl is just silly

It still follows the same principle that other fighting games have, punish mistakes. Yea the moves are way easier to perform but it’s all about who screws up the least. Every fighting arcade style fighter is the same.

@@Reign7631 My point is that the online environment could be more health and fun, i play a lot of old games on Figthcade, SF6 and Strive rank, and ALL this examples are more fun overral, people do stupid stuff ? sure, people will exploit good stuff no matter what, but the point is how interactible is the system mechanics and how much the game allow you to learn and have better experiences online. DBFZ suffer from the auto-combo side switch spam, rollback in this game is not good so you drop inputs ALL the time and you have a lot of moves that can be exploited over and over, so instead of adapt and be better, learn new strategies and evolve people wanna do the same thing over and over and move on, If you broke the mindflow they one and done you, RQ or just keep doing the stupid SD Full screen. Is about the mentality, specially the player base mentality, in other games after you pass certain rank you start to "play the game", but DBFZ ia cursed even on Grand Priest lvs

Yeah, I used to be among the camp that just said get good if you struggle against c assists, but i can't anymore. It's not even a matter of skill, I just don't find it fun to ponder whether or not I'm gonna get caught by a random ass invincible c assist at any time in nuetral. I'm at the rank where that shit is hella common since people just want to get out of rosè. It's such a problem. I have to work my whole gameplan around reflecting it on 7 plus frames if delay sometimes. It's so bad at this point bro 😅

I feel like most people just echo what top players say in that, c assist is not that bad, just get good. When most people play for fun and don't have the connection or rollback to do so. The risk reward is not ballanced at all imo. It's very similar to white wild assault in guilty gear, just that the dbfz community knows that they cannot get anything done about it, so they dont care. Whereas, guilty gear strive is still getting updated.
