the reason the giant didn't kill smii7y is at 35:38 is because in the creatures log it is said that it has child like behavior which is also why they put pretty much anything in their stomach, which includes the players and the music from the boombox basically makes you immune to the giants until u turn it off

@@InchonDM ye it is quite funny but the other problem is it attracts the blind dog and to get away from that u have to turn the music off which then makes the giant kill you, but it is better off trying to run away from the dog as you have a higher chance of living compared to 0

Cute but no, the giant is completely deaf and this isn't a real mechanic of boomboxes, the giant was just bugged. Boombox only works as a distraction for dogs or to pacify the hydrogere slimes.

the guy who follows you and snaps your neck is called the flower man. if you scan the monsters you can check the bestiary at the terminal. the flower man is afraid of confrontation and if you keep him in the corner of your eye he backs off. just don't look directly at him. kinda like an enderman :)
