This OW2 has some bugs regarding rank man. I was always a High Gold, Low Platinum player but after Placements, I started in High Bronze which is weird af.
It’s funny how all these people are complaining about how in low elo “it’s a shitshow" and this doesn’t help with it as he isn’t playing in real low elo. However, this is the elo, where his tips become useful. Positioning, cooldowns, ult tracking and piecing that info together is how you ascend in higher elos IMO. Everything below diamond is just mechanics, saying this as a plat myself, I know I still lack mechanics, but this video was pretty educational to me.
Worded beautifully, I solo q’d from silver 5 support to diamond 5 (so far) in OW2 and that’s really what it takes. Especially knowing when a fight is lost and retreating. Retreating and regrouping is key.
Agreed. Videos like this is way better than all those stupid clickbait title videos that says stuff like “how to play GM”. Mid diamond/low masters here and I agree. If you are truly a monster with mechanics you will easily climb out of gold. Plat was a grind for me since you need more team synergy and counterplays. I’ve fallen back to Diamond rn, I’m having a tough time to distinguish better timing of going in and getting out. I’m noticing how patient shadder2k is with blade and more optimal timing of dashing in. In diamond, people are wayy better mechanically and can punish super hard if you make mistakes.
No offense but this isn't a teaching video. I can barely hear you over the sounds of the game. I'd suggest a vod review where you explain your thoughts on why you do certain things. Like your explanation of waiting for EMP to blade was something a player like myself never even thought about.
TLDR or TLDW idk: Play around your team Play around enemy cooldowns Keep track of ults from both teams Position better OmegeLuL Just aim better 🥱 Play until you become numb Imo the video is more show don't tell. Just play around your team and learn the maps specially on LOW elo since you can't always rely on your healers so it's helpful to know your health pack positions. Alas rank doesn't matter and you don't need to be a god, play what let's you have fun and improve at your own pace since nobody can put effort into that other than yourself. Also if you guys want just pop into Necros stream or hell even one of his videos and only look at the chat until you see the huge ass workshop code list to help you gain those extra steps to improve. TLDR: Improve at your own pace and micromanage cooldowns and ults whiles keeping in mind positioning
I was gm on PlayStation and switched to pc also a genji main cause of you and it’s so hard to climb out of this Elo because the healers are so bad and I can’t play nearly as aggressively as I could because of it
It's something I had to learn. And I agree there are a handful of games that just aren't winnable due to the lack of team synergy. But the only way to climb out is to play at their pace. If ur truly better than the current elo ur in mechanically, then u should be able to take 1v1s in a stalemate. But if u go deeper than ur team is capable of u can't rly expect heals from them. Also it'd do u justice to just find a support duo who u can trust
Unless you are on console, just have a smooth sensitivity that’s comfortable, l like 800 dpi with 7.0 sense on genji and 180 are very easy, aiming them is what u have to learn on your own🤷🏽♂️
I play on super high sens cos my mouse pad is small and it took me around a week to practice and learn to do consistent 180s.i only have to flick my mouse like 3-4 cm to do it. You should try with different sens to try to get a grasp of which one fits your wrist/elbow movement
At the first game he was in with that gameplay that he shown i don't know how he has so much dmg really... i mean he did die 3 times by mistakes that he would never do at high elo and still had 3k more dmg than the second dps. He did not kill lets say many people with dragon blade either so i really don't get it. Maybe connecting yur shurikens more often has a big impact i dunno
someone explain what happened in the intro he used his dash upward in the air and it shown 8 sec cooldown and after using his dragonblade he got a reset even without killing someone? how come he got a reset?
Was it really necessary to hold blade at 6:55 and onwards? I would have bladed right after dashing into junkrat. I don't understand what is the reason behind not using your only option to win one of the last fights. The situation does not even look that horrible, you have some teammates alive and enemies have used suzu and other abilities...
@@xythiera7255 he isn't smurfing though, it's an old alt account which was 4500sr and decayed, his MMR is still GM and he was getting matched with top 20 players after he finished his placements.
I watch your content regularly and appreciate it, there is nothing educational with it, just another smurfing video for people entertainments. you even underperformed in the first game considering it's a low elo lobby, I'm kinda surprised and make me think it's nothing but educational video
I’m going to be honest if I saw this gameplay as a random replay code I’d think you were actually gold/plat from the first 3 games so far.. going to guess this was an off-day? Really weird how you lost most your duels and only 26% accuracy :(
@@alku6252 you can have good positioning in plat but have bad aim, which is what this looks like to me. I think I am the other. I get 40% accuracy but don’t always make the proper play on positioning
