The 3 packs in the plastic bags were from the 80s

Some of them may have been “90s” but there were several packs with 80s joes in them.

@@80sToysRoc I promise you the bundled sets of 3 that you showed or that were visible were all reissued repaints of the originals.. and came in 3packs at retail as 15th anniversary sets exclusive to only toys r us. That's why Ace was molded in Gray, the other figures in that bundle were also repainted.. While he had a lot of originals too.. 👍

I love popeye too and that set was really sweet

I know both of you love vintage stuffs and if ever yall know a friend that is a Filipino and frequently goes back and forth from the US to Manila maybe you can ask them to find you a Popeye set from the 90s that is from Jollibee which is their equivalent of a McD kiddie meal. There's a 1991-92 big set and a 1999 small set (both has Popeye, Olive, Bluto, Swee'Pea and Wimpy). the '91 can fetch from $40-80 depending on the seller or the condition and the '99 set sells for $25 max. It's not available though on ebay and only in my country unless it got imported on some foreign toy shops.
