in this video I give you a 14 minute tour of my micro camper. This has been built on a trial and error basis as we had to keep our rear seats so the Caddy could be used as a normal everyday car and a camper when we need it to.

Very informative and something that I'll be having to do more research on when I get my caddy in the next few months,so will be needing lots of advice from you guys by the time next camping season arrives.

I love the way you make it work mate. I have just looked and couldn’t believe you only have 340 subscribers. I think this is a great channel and you both deserve a lot more subs. But Rome wasn’t built in a day. Best of luck to you and the channel keep them coming

Enjoyed this little van tour mate, some good ideas in there and I also can't recommend van-x curtains enough either, not the cheapest option but fit and work so well! They're only around the corner from me too which is a bonus 😂I'm 6ft and the headroom is a bit of an issue for sitting upright but you get by and just bang your head occasionally 🤣Your caddty looks really tidy on the outside bodywork wise too btw 👌 only thing I missed is your partners funny goodbye on the outro 🤷‍♂🤣

Aww mate (spoiler alert) she’s not even in my next one either, I missed her too as it’s a good little ending to the video. I’m glad someone else agrees with these van-x curtains, they have been a game changer, well worth the extra money for these. 6ft and above in a Caddy is pushing it, but I just love how inconspicuous they are, mine maybe doesn’t look too stealthy with the roof box and awning, but I think it just looks like a van someone uses as a daily. It is getting old though and close up the bodywork needs attention, but from a distance and on here it doesn’t look too bad 😂. Thanks for watching mate 🤙

i 5foot 6 and i had my bed running the length ways and it was a short one i moved temporally to cross ways buy the sliding doors and it just work for a short ass like me that sleeps the fetal sleeping position like me also thinking that moving the seats forward and having a fold up bed extender to make it wider camp mode. i am a part time wheelchair user and have batec clip on that turns it a power trike that to fit in the van. allso been look a steeling some of the Designs used it them teardrop campers. theirs a good RU-vid channel called the Little Camper that as stuff good in it

I’ll check them out mate thank you! I think it is trial and error with the caddys being such a small space, and each person has different needs in regards to their build, I think that’s what makes a caddy camper so unique mate.

Pal of mine has an older T5 I think it is, pretty certain it's an F plate 89 - it's always full of shit and does my head in, he lived just outside of Dumfries for years and when I went to visit he'd always pick me up from the train station, I still mind going a few years back and he was growing FK'in plants out the dash, REAL flowers on the passenger side dash, had these STUPID flower power curtains up all round too, kids would stand and take the utter piss out it then Id walk out from some take-away shop and ask them to move and climb in it, was like a scene straight out The Inbetweeners. He got it converted to LPG Gas as was cosying him a fortune on diesel, stupid van!

We did have a roof tent but now we take a separate tent for the kids to sleep in.

Lies. Lies, lies (apparently if you say it 3 times it drives the point even more home) it isn’t the same as every other Caddy camper video, I give an example of 2 other caddy camper videos on this one and mines totally different to them. But thanks for taking the time to comment Tony, makes all the effort in making these videos worth it.
