Question: When in the Army base and you draw for residents , shouldn’t you go to the script mentioned on the location? If so, you would have never met the Hobos. Also when trading, does the increased price of cigarettes not apply when you are buying as well as selling? I can’t check the rule book as my copy hasn’t arrived yet. Fantastic use of the advanced rule that allows you to push for a 4th action. I could literally hear the cogs whirring inside your head as you searched for a solution. Elegantly done. Looking at the errata: Waaaay back at the start of the game , you should have drawn an event card. It seems that a lot of players miss this as the card itself is misprinted. CHAPTER I A sentence that reads as follows should be added as the last sentence to the card text: “After determining the Objectives, draw the top Event card.” This means you would have played 1 day less but that would mean less drama for us, so I’m glad you played it your way. A brilliant story and fantastically enjoyable playthrough. I have enjoyed all 7+ hours with you. Thank you.
Hey George! I have the miss of the event card (which I knew but still forgot because it’s not mentioned on the card gah!) in my pinned comment. I put myself through another whole day because of it...I like the tension! Let’s stick with that. The fourth action was so needed to avoid that nasty pile of Misery! I knew there had to be something I could swing. Otherwise I would have been in a jam! I’ll have to look into that situation with the Hobos when I have a moment too. Thanks for watching. Nice finale. I do feel obligued to point out a rules error. At 6:10 you open the door with the lockpick, but you should normally roll the dice to see if it is a success (or play the mini game in the app if you play that variant) Also, regarding the weapons for the guards at 1:05:50 , in the night raid phase under choosing weapons for the guards, it states that each character may only wield 1 weapon, so I assume that you have to choose a single weapon at that time.
Yes, the second weapon is used only in combat outside during the night. Here we don't see how combat works, luckily for Adam. If you haven't a firearm, the risk of wounds is very high! Lockpick, you're right.

Thanks Adam for the movie you directed for us, because I watched it as a great survival storytelling plus a lot of funny game situations. Probably the best long gameplay I ever seen. YOU WIN! I knew it would be a barely victory cause only one beginning survival was alive, but nevermind. My best score is 0, ahahahah. Now I'm going to start some scenarios from Ruined City expansion, your videos induce me to buy it and try to survive more and more. Just a question, can you share the paragraphs with the secret rules? I can't find some you told in this video, and there is a special rule for the hatchet too... Great game, great gameplay, great time!
Hey Mario! Very happy to hear you enjoyed the playthrough. It was a fun one to do. Enjoy reaching back and playing solid solo games. Yep, on camera no less! Lol The secret rules aren’t so secret. Basically in the journal there are scripts for each major phase on the game. Go to those scripts in the app and then scroll to the bottom. You’ll sometimes see Advanced Rules mentioned and you can click on them. Hope that helps!
The bars only block the furniture card the rubble you go to by stairs where the heater now is. Also he put the card on the findings deck. But that should be put on the findings pile next to the locations

Kick the door down rule violation @ 59:48 - You played the card but failed to use an action. It is an automatic card but still requires an action to be used to do it. Thematically speaking how would the door be kicked down if there is nobody there to kickk it.
Great playthrough and an awesome game. I acquired it just recently, but haven't completed it yet, I have a 'saved ' game waiting to start chapter two, but the characters aren;t in best of health, haha The game can be totally brutal, like you said multiple times. You get a few statuses and it's very difficult to get anywhere, because you just don;t have the actions. I do think you cheated near the end though, on the last turn where you removed all the cold. You gained wood from the kick the door down, and burned it in the same action. I don;t specifically know of the ruling here, but it strikes me (much like when building) that you would have to take the wood to the heater when moving the character there. You did have books to burn though, so it didn't really make a difference to the outcome.
Ah! Good catch. I wouldn’t have been able to use the wood I gained that turn. I had been ensuring I didn’t do that throughout the playthrough but it must have slipped the mind there. As you mentioned, I had books so I could easily use those! Thanks so much for checking out the series. I had a fun time with it and this game isn’t leaving my collection anytime in the near future.
I am looking for a game that has a narritive voice over app like the Isofarian Guard and Oathsworn into the Deepwood. Do you know if there are any more games with this option and which is your favorite?
Another few would be Gloomhaven, Frosthaven and Middara. All will be in the Forteller app like the two you mentioned. They’re also looking into other games as well. Not sure which ones yet though!
