My thoughts exactly, people get upset over the most ridiculous things in this game these days. If you want an ad for specific youtuber content, have a runelite plugin made, don't force it onto people who might want to know about actual game updates but not some dumbass youtuber who did a thing..
The ad looks and feels like a RS3 ad. Its like PTSD from squeel of fortune ads. Also, theyre literally advertising to people who are already members and who are already playing.

Jagex can put ads but only in F2P worlds like it always do or just put on the login screen on the bottom right is not that damaging...but never in game. that is intrusive sadly.

I'M ALREADY MEMBER ON 8 ACCOUNTS JAGEX, LET ME ENJOY MY F2P BUILD! EDIT: Hard no on content creators being advertised in the same way. Game updates I'm fine with, but generally speaking I give 0 fecks about content creators and don't want that to literally pollute my game. I'd take Squeal of Fortune over this.

i dont see how a pop up for a quest in a game you are playing is an ad. feels like its more for people who dont stay current on osrs news. "do our new grandmaster quest" isnt an ad. not to mention you can turn it off. whats being invasive? its literally just a reminder for new content on the game you are playing.

He clicks ags then clicks maul, then double clicks the spec bar which makes the maul go off without having to click back on the opponent & combo eats same tick
dino is 100% right pvp should be optional because then everything pvp related wouldn't need to be polled or voted no on. its not like 2008 anymore where you dont know how the game works and if you go into the wilderness ur probably going to bring max 3 items maybe 4 and if you do you're probably not risking much for the most part its just a inconvience. pkers should fight other pkers not kill pvmers for 500k
