judge me , but I love the "worst teams", love bykolles from the lmp1 era, and how they were last in the class, and try to stay in ta race lol btw another warrior driver takes the "other" shitbox, I see 1 glikenhaus on grid , and I love to see it in there. xD
Glickenhaus wasn t a sh.tbox, it was the only american outfit to finish on the overall podium at le mans in over 50 years, and they were constantly fighting for podiums and wins in 2022 and for top 5's in 2023. The only thing bad at that team was its budget.
That podium at le mans was in 2022? Bc In that case, ontem glikenhaus AND toyota has hypercars on grid.. (alpine was a lmp1 "hypercar") ..so its not a "big achievement" reach the podium.. if only 3 cars racing and u are the third between them, not belittling them, as I said, I love shitbox and worst teams, and how they persist, but look, as soon as the other hypercars entered the grid.. glikenhaus didn't keep up with them, that's a FACT, glikenhaus only beat in consistency and rhythm the Floyd Vannwall
I love bykollers' lmp1-l shitbox predecessor from 2014 but i'm biased because i'm romanian and they are the only romanian wec lmp1 entry. Fun fact their boss' real name is not colin kolles but calin colesnic and he is 100% romanian. That being said i've always had a small fascination for these uncompetitive teams. Especially the really obscure ones with lots of legal backstory and controversial members/sponsors.
@@rickrolled7930 woooow thats something idk about bykolles xD really appreciate this info. and it's actually really cool to know about these more "obscure" teams. I always liked bykolles and how they always tried to just take their lmp1 to the end. I already considered it a victory (apart from the fact that for me, they had the second most beautiful lmp1 I've ever seen, just behind the rebellion Lola B12/60 with the lotus paint job)
@@alexkayracing I just wish they would make the Glick and Vanwall competitive too, at least online. I get it that they were bad irl but it doesn't make sense to me to have them that bad in multiplayer
@@SoapSimRacer I think they are headed that way to be honest mate. The Ferrari and Toyota were dominant as hell last season in WEC, but they just hit them with a massive nerf bat. So we could definitely see a buff to the vanwall and glick
Yo mate, if you are ever gonna do another Vanwall vid, one tip, usually, in order for a non-hybrid Hypercar catch up to others, mostly, it would go max rpm, meaning, in the Vanwall, due to it being non-hybrid, your best shot to try and overtake is to shift when all the blue beads are on the steering wheel, you dont really have to do it if you dont want to, just a tip
hello SSR, just a question, the feeling I was having watching you ride in the Vanwall was that the car was quite unstable in terms of braking, especially in reference to other Hypercars, that's right ?
