they need to understand that it's better to have a weekly playtime total rather than a daily. I'd rather spend all weekend playing the game for all day long, rather than have to join every single day just to stop after 5 minutes bc I'm busy, or worse, I'm bored. I purposely wait until the event has 3-4 days unlocked at least because I *do* enjoy those events, but I want to enjoy them at my pace, not being forced to do one crumble of it each day.
That's exactly how I feel as well about events. When we do it on the last day, we get to really experience the entire event completely in one go, which is actually nice and it leaves a better lasting impression.
I agree, they did this before, and for people saying its our fault, bs, theres a reason they never did this in a long time, many people hated it, it was rated bad, it makes no sense to have a time gated event and blame the rest when majority of the event do not have this, I play daily, people cheese the event because people have lives.
Exactly, as a casual game, event mechanics like this shouldn't exist. Like I've pointed out, if they only had the "Film"/photo chances carry over was the easiest solution so that people wouldn't be locked out from earning the rewards. It's hard enough looking for specific samples, but gating the film made it impossible for more casual players like us.
This game conditions you to be a last minute completionist as alot of events are time locked anyway, so I see why many would get caught off guard by this.
I finished that event in a few hours on the 2nd day. I was freaking frustrated on that 2nd day that I'm not getting the sample that i needed instead i have multiple copies of the same color of that freaking sample. Good thing random people were kind enough to give their extra samples.
I just barely clutched out getting all the primogems from this event, on the very final day of the event, with like 3 more films And I played it every day except for one. The fact you can legit fail is mind-blowing to me.
Event with RNG shouldn't exist in the first place. That was purely RNG based. This event shouldn't return at all! I was lucky to complete it, but my friend, if I hadn't had the brown color one, he wouldn't even been able to complete it. And he did it every day.
I got all the samples in 3 days.. started with that amount left. >..> So think they should give a warning label on these though. Saying it is failable due to time.
Not random at all. The game tends to give one color the most and another scarcely. I was full of red and had to rely on friends to get some blue or I'd fail the f*kng game. Really a shitty event. Really
event ssucked but i was still able to get all awards after skipping 2 days. you just had to manage the color photos better. maybe read the even mechanics next time.
Y all are bitching for no reason. We all know you are all logging in daily for the comissions so just do the event as well. And even if you dont, ask people for the colors you are missing
I just wanna give my thoughts on your comment, I barely have time to really play more than 10 mins in most cases except when I'm dedicating time to do stuff like archon quests or clearing abyss, i really don't get to check events in most cases especially when I see there are still multiple days left. Plus, most events can be done on the last day. I dont know how much time you have or how throrough you are when you do log in. But i respect your comment i completely understand your take.
