@32:30 the tree is trimmed like that to clear the power lines. This is done by the orange and white trucks that are labeled Aspen. They clear the power lines across the U.S. The homeowner planted the wrong kind to tree under a power line. LOL Checks out the blonde girl!!!! Big trouble, for little Davey!!!

Yep Dave, the flashing signal signs generally mean the light ahead is about to change, most helpful on higher speed roads.

That was easy. There's a place in Atlanta I used to go and if you got one of the last 2 docks you had to blind side. About 5 or so feet past the last dock is a fence. Your truck has motorized mirrors and you should learn how to use them when blindsiding. It can make things easier.

One way making a blind side easier is use the passenger side mirror to your advantage by moving it as your inching in, nice little trick i was taught, just thought i would throw that out there, nice videos dave

Great video Dave you're a really great backer I use to be so nervous when I got my cdl and started trucking and had to do a blind side for the first time but I not nervous at all no more it gets easier wants you been driving a big truck for a long time today it's been 4 years now sense I been driving I love it love your videos.

I always look forward to your vids. I retired early at 56 from a highway department a couple of years ago, and started watching your vids, figured driving a dump truck would be a good transition to a semi, but haven't yet. I often wonder how many times you banged your knee on the grab bar of that Volvo. LOL, I'm your height, and it always got me every now and then.

I always drive up slow to a red light .. not as slow as that but the reason I do it is because my car’s a stick shift transmission and I don’t want to use more clutch than I have to 😂 it’s like using the Jake Break to not use up your breaks 😂 plus I also don’t have to use my breaks as much to stop .. just slow down and if I have to stop I’ll use them .. but I don’t drive as slow as that guy 😂 he was going way too slow bruh

Blindside official, iv been doing it every chance i get even when i can easily U turn around. Got to the point where its usually only a quick pull up fix. Now between 2 trucks is the next level.

I stumbled upon your channel not too long ago because your Motovlogs appeared on my feed. I liked it, so I subscribed. Later on, I get trucking videos on my feed, I was like this is random but sure. Then I realized it was you, but you are doing trucking videos more nowadays. I have no real interest in this type of stuff typically but I enjoy your channel a lot and the videos, so keep it up. I wonder what ever happened to the motovlogs, the channel still says Trucking and Motorcycle Content, maybe you just don't have as much time I assume.

Dave, I noticed that each time you get out to briefly check something, it looks like you _simultaneously_ pull out on the yellow knob while _pushing in_ on the red. Is that what you're doing? If so, why? Why not just pull out the yellow knob without touching the red (or, to be extra safe, pull out both and have brakes applied on both tractor _and_ trailer)?

If you pull out the yellow, the red pops out too automatically, that's why he holds it down. Dave may have a different reasoning, but I was trained to only set the trailer brakes if you're dropping it, parked on a hill, or during unloading/loading.

Not a driver myself but a couple of times, I found that Bing Maps had a street view but Google didn’t on a more minor street that I was looking at to find something. So consider that as alternative option.
