This song is just a jumbled mess for me. I feel sorry for the girls, but my ears can’t take this. Also as some people mentioned: the plagiarism.. to the point where the scenes almost look identical to scenes of four (!) ateez mv's. and apparently from loona too. Then the freaking ad in the mv and lyrics? just no. KQ should sue and JYP should do better in the future.

I agree, it should have been 3 different songs! This group got a lot of hype because of their predebut videos. If you watch them, it's very clear these girls are some of the most talented idols of 4th gen. They have amazing dancers and stunning vocalists. But this song, sigh. Also that blatant plagiarism of ATEEZ Illusion MV (and a bit too much "inspiration" of their other MVs and storyline) was NOT COOL, JYP -.- KQ should sue.

my most sincere opinion is that: this song has 3 parts but they are very different from each other. I would like to listen to them separately, like in 3 different songs, or mix the first part of the song with the last part. And what happens is that by joining the three parts in a song, it has become a bit strange. But honestly, I think it doesn't sound bad at all, but as I said I would prefer 2 different songs, considering that the mix doesn't work very well as a single song. I’m sorry but I can’t support this song. Wth is shoong shoong whook whook baila baila baila? Like no. The lyrics are by far the worst I’ve seen in a kpop song, the mv had nice visuals and the girls would’ve sounded better if the song wasn’t mashed together really badly. And I’m sorry but for a debut song to have a shameless advertisement in is just shameful to me, I just wanted something more meaningful or better prepared for a debut-don’t get me started on the English lyrics bc they aren’t cohesive at all. But I hope if I check their future songs that they’ll sound better! I’m just not a stan of this 4th gen concept of mashing 5 songs together and expecting people to eat it up honestly.

plagiarizes Ateez's Illusion MV, the group's concept and part of their storyline. Also a bit of LOONA's visuals (in the debut teaer it's 90% plagiarized from LOONA tho) and so on... The song is not THAT bad but... Well. As a music producer beginner who is always committing myself to experimentation in music and spreading it I don't think this is genuine (for the seek of art) since it comes from a Big company and it's also sponsored by Coca-Cola. So I think overall it was a marketing strategy to get that wow factor and attract audience... The girls r AMAZING, so talented and very precious. They do not deserve this at all!

I personally like their other song TANK but I really hope they have a better opportunity to show their talents!

I try not to criticize a new debut group and I'm sure these girls are all talented but really this song is a mess. It's like listening to a sampler. Can't understand the concept, message and musicality of this song. What I need to see to get interested in a new group is more then visuals and raw talent. I need to see a concept, beat, or hook that grabs me and sucks me in. So for me sorry but they are a pass.

Omg I thought you didn't react to this debut but I'm just now finding this video. Honestly this was such a confusing song, I really liked the seperate sections but I agree with you that putting them togheter in one track was just a bit too much. The first concept they started with was already experimental enough, jyp really didn't need to squeeze in another song in the middle. These could've been 2/3 very good seperate tracks but now it's just one mess 😭

NMIXX for me has the most talented singers right now on this new gen, but JYP did something that is not gonna work, having such a chaotic mix it'll never be famous or successful because it's messy. I love the girls a lot and I'm rooting for them because they're extremely talented but JYP is wasting their potential so much... I hope they change their original idea of a mix by doing maybe a pop-jazz mix or a mix about their concepts, but this is just messed up :( If they have done two debut songs. One called "O.O" like the first part and third part of the song, and another one called "Superhero" for the second part (my favorite part of the song) it would be a very very good debut, especially for the Superhero part.

Soo it goes as in the start Jinni starts the song saying hOOk hOOk, lOOk at the moving eyes and then she says smtg ShOOg ShOOg and then Jiwoo comes with zOOm zOOm soo basically it's a play on words with the title as the title is O.O you can notice that all these words have double OO in them.... hOOk is to move forward and shOOg is used in korean mangas as sound for the moving eyes by side all these are the movements of eyes used in mangas and comic books soo it's a play with the eyes like NMIXX wants to say they'll make eyes look at them they'll make eyes wander... And next is the part where there is a line "this is just a teaser" soo basically when the song changes where it feels this is an entire different song you can relate to these lyrics as they said it's just a teaser soo the song is what NMIXX is all about they want to say that they can do whatever concept it is.. we can do this type of song and also this type of song soo it's a teaser abt what NMIXX is all abt.. Now you can also relate to the "check on the popcorn" lyrics it is a s this is a teaser yhe entire movie is still there to sit down with your popcorn... And also during the teaser part you can hear a HOOT sound in the back it's a sound made by Owl now if you see the title it kinda looks like an owl as well (O.O) soo they used HOOT as a sound effect.. And lily in the pre chorus says that "the tension is going high more higher leggo" during her verse you'll see that the song start building up and also lily goes high with her voice soo you can relate to the lyrics it was all calculated.. And "watch out baila baila baila" "watch it how nice how nice" baila means to dance soo watch our dance how nice it is...
