I lost the love of my life 9 years ago. The only boy I ever loved. Together since we were 15 and 16. We had a relationship like you guys. The sweetest man I’ve ever known. Two stupid hippies who grew up as we raised 3 beautiful kids. Never had much money-wise, but oh, we had so much joy. So much fun. He left me too soon at the age of 57. Miss him every day. Will never marry again because no one can beat him. Brings me joy to see your relationship ❤️

Lukas Graham often includes loosing someone in his songs, his father died and it affected him a lot. You can see it in "You're not there", where he says that it's not fair his father won't be able to see "the man that he made" , and celebrate with him. In "7 years" he says "soon you'll be 60 years old", and his father died at 61. Other songs like Funeral talk about death, in this case Lukas' death, how he imagines his own funeral. I love his music.

I just love these two! Not afraid to show emotions! To me if you love someone you fight for the love you have. You just dont give up and throw away everything away after a few fights or disagreements! My parents have been married for 52yrs and my dad tells my mom how beautiful she is and my Mom will tell my Dad how much she loves him. They hold hands still - I want that kind of love

Many people have suggested it before but 7 years, speaking of emotional songs, is such a well-written and well performed song too. His live versions are even more unreal. He has a really unique voice that not everybody loves but I think it's just unbelievably good, and he sounds the same on record as he does live. On top of it all he seems like a great dude who came from a tough upbringing and is just trying to be positive as hell. It's cool to see you guys checking him out!
