Sorry to hear about your father 💔 my dad died 16 years ago when I was 19 years old and studying drums at art school. It was a really tough time in our life. I've spoken a few times about my past on a few of Ren's reactions and Ren & Chinchilla's songs. Where my past after my dad died was a pretty dark place for many years(was an addict for a few years)... He died of cancer so hearing the words that you where singing just really hit me in the feels. 💜 Luckily for the past 9 years I have managed to turn my life around and I have found some kind of happiness in this crazy world. Music will always be so healing to the heart. Thank you for being so amazing and vulnerable on stage like that. It was a beautiful thing to experience. 💜 Much love to you and your family in this time & keep making such beautiful music the world needs it now more than ever 💜😊

That was beautiful, I’m sure your dad heard you Sam. My mom was my hero, raised 5 of us on her own when my dad died young. Miss them both everyday. Big hugs & love to you Shaney ❤
Hey Shane, thanks man and sending love to you too, the years pass by without our loved ones but still raw. Sam before his recent loss always had an ability to reach into your chest with his lyrics and performances because it is real, it all comes from a real place of vulnerability. Beautiful and so sad that it has such a different presence now but so many struggle and it is a powerful powerful message. I was lucky enough to be one of those lights in the upper balcony that night and it is a night I will never forget. I knew I had to go, support this artist I had found this year, I connected with his music, love his voice and just lovely guy. At 40 I lost my partner of almost 10 years to sepsis, the grief is overwhelming I just hope he leans on those around him, takes time for himself as well as doing what he loves and he did such a great job! You never completely heal from these things but you can move forward with them in your heart every day. Life is precious though we can't always appreciate it at the time. Happy again, married to a great man and grabbing my life with both hands.....thanks for this one Shane - so glad you did this!!
Must of been so amazing experiencing this live. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you but I'm glad you found your happiness again. Life can be cruel at times but it can also be very beautiful that is just the nature of this life. It's how we handle ourselves in these situations that matter. Thank you for the lovely comment
