You need a holder for a box knife (bag?) and a bungee cord. Wrap the bungee around your netting with the bag, and that way you always have a knife with your netting.

Most of those visors are around $200. I had one for Dodge Dakota and I think I did sell it. I see some haulers using trailers with sides to haul the cars now. I used to ship long trim like that Ford pickup has in a PVC pipe. If the trim is nice enough guys will pay whatever arm and leg it costs to ship.

I want that Ford tow truck front the intro! A scrap yard in my area welded a huge plate in their crusher to get more squeeze out of it. Would be a cheaper solution then buying new.

Thanks Silas, great ot hear that you had a fantastic vacation! There must be a reliable shipping company that you could only deal with, or a retired person that would be willing to wait at your yard for a few $$'s, or even another business near you that they could collect it from. $300 is crazy cheap for that cab and for all that hassle! Hope you get something sorted, it'll make your life easier and less stressful!

They do reproduce the Ford hood emblems up to f-350. even the 1967 models which didn't have a reflector.

Shipping companies we deal with are a nightmare to! Friday i was at my shop 7am waiting for a delivery from Atlanta guy didn't show up till 2pm when we bitched at him he said I was tired so I slept in a while then stopped at a friend's for lunch but he didn't tell anybody he was going to be 7hrs late so that messed our whole week up. The driver said o well I own the truck i can do whatever I want

13:18 LMC Trucks have the 3100 series & the 55 -59 cabs only for the price of 18k. It's a good bargaining point in adjust the price of the original ones.

That Ford F-250 that has the under dash a/c also has the dual fuel propane conversion on the engine. I’d be interested in that but distance is the killer for me.

I enjoyed this video a lot. Nice amount of crushing and loading up of cars. The crusher did not seem to to bad and you may run into a bus or two. Not really run in but by chance. The loading deemed okay but I hope things work out. Great video.

A lot of people nowadays think that if they get loud and say I saw this are that on the internet and I can get this much more for it that they'll get there way and it's sad. Your a better man then me i would have told to wait around and I'd go found some of the converters that he had and ask him if you could ride with him to that other place so you could make the kind of money that he said he could get. That would have shut him up

Man I wish you weren't so dog gone far away from North Carolina. I just bought a 36 ft long motor home, with the second gen Cummings 24 valve Allison transmission sitting on a Freightliner chassis, if you weren't so far away I'll be coming up there to get a truck cab from an old Dodge truck and maybe even a bed, I want to put a Dodge truck cab on the front stretch the front end over top of that Cummings, intertwined and older Dodge van into the back of the cab and then put an older Dodge pickup bed behind it could have the biggest baddest Dodge truck in North Carolina, all the trucks you get your hands on one of them trucks would work good for me I'm a mighty man so I ain't worried about the rest I can fix it, love your videos keep up the good work maybe one day I get out that way and I'll stop in and see you, I would let you know first I wouldn't just drop on you

You should compare the lid mounting brackets on your 2 crushers the stroke is supposed to be the same on the cylinders. If you have a qualified welder you could probably just lower the mounts. New machines are $200k and good luck finding a good price on a used one most of them are priced between 125k to 175k for a decent machine and when the price of scrap starts going up again those won't be around long

Cars hit $70 a ton during the Great Recession. I was paying $30 per ton for them. We didn’t start selling again until it got up to around $140

The Explorer and Chevy look fine, as did the Cadi. They wouldn't allow those to be crushed in the UK. Stripped for parts, possibly. But as there is a shortage of cars, people are just bunging these things into Copart and making big bucks, whilst others buy them as cheaper repair cars. Take it you're not allowed to sell the full car with a scrap title?
