Bog, the goop monster, is made of an acidic tar-like substance and has a penchant for eating or possessing his opponents should he win (there's a freeze frame of him possessing another character, Yupia, despite her being an android.) Gildedguy is the only character that ever resisted this possession, and the very first to actually push Bog out for the most part. This fight is considered draw by most of the stick fight community.
@@OfficialSuperComiks Yeah, this by far the closest he's gotten to losing, but losing to Bog means death, so this was as close a GG could get it and still make it character accurate for both fighters
Bog just doesn't lose. The closest thing you get to a win against him is just...well...surviving the fight. Because the last thing you'll manage to do is kill the guy
To put into perspective just how big of a feat GG just did heres some context By all accounts there is no winning when you fight bog. Most people who face him die and barely any even survive so this is a huge feat. Gildedguy knew that he couldnt win by fighting bog head on and so he knew he had to let him into his mind in order to win. Gildedguy is just a normal guy he has no powers and the only supernatural thing about him is his pen which was made from his sheer will and drive. However the most remarkable thing about him is his willpower and drive to achieve his goals, this was what let him survive a encounter with bog. By letting bog into his head he trapped him in there getting beat up over and over again only to steel his resolve again and again refusing to back down to bogs infulence until day broke. Like i said there is no winning against bog but GG definitely didnt lose
@@crowravencorvenrow both were made with the power of his pen and as such have some mystical properties His sword can extend to his will like a liquid but still retain a edge while his armor provides more protection than it reasonably should and can harness electricity to empower him He can use these thing's special abilities but they dont come directly from him after all both were just regular things before being turned into what they now are by the pen The sword was a old rusty one found in a field and his armour was his old painter outfit
If you actually recall back to episode 6 some of bog was still within him, which was preventing him from putting his golden gloves on, and eventually letting go allowed him to clear himself of the remainder of bog. Allowing his gold armor to act as a conductor for the electricity and then connecting to the ground, making electricity do nothing to him.
