So this was made before Pokémon Sword and Shield so Eternatus wouldn’t be present. While I do think he could potentially do really well in this scenario considering he’s 65+ feet long in his weakest state and flows with infinite energy, he did also get defeated by Zacian and Zamazenta who are two wolves with a sword and a shield and are (canonically) way weaker than something like Necrozma who absorbs light from entire universes. If Eternatus just flew into space he would just need to scrap with Necrozma and probably lose, but then fight Arceus and almost definitely go down since he’s God
Ah thanks for clarifying for me. I thought I just didn't see him in the battle royal, but it's practically impossible not to see a 65+ feet pokemon. Yeah I think on the canonically legendary pokemon tier list, Zacian and Zamazenta were ranked lower than Mewtwo and Rayquaza. So he most likely wouldn't have been in the top 5 pokemon left in the battle royal. Unless there' are some abilities I don't know about Eternatus. And him beating Palkia, Dialga, Necrozma after absorbing pokemon, and Arceus was never going to happened. But it would have been cool to see him in action though.
@@mycupoftea_1 If Eternatus was in it's Eternamax form, I believe it would be among the last few standing in that battle royale! It would come down to Eternamax Eternatus, Ultra Necrozma, Palkia, Dialga, Giratina, and Arceus. The battle could go many ways, but of course, Arceus would be the overall winner! As per being defeated by Zacian and Zamazenta, you have to take into account that they are built specifically to defeat Dynamax pokemon! Their signature moves did double the damage against Eternatus's Eternamax! Also, Eternatus is Dragon Type! Zamazenta resists Dragon, and is immune to Poison! Zacian is immune to both! They are both literally perfect counters to something like Eternatus, who only has something like flamethrower as a viable offense against them! Thus, overall, Eternatus is a monster who would certainly be among the last few standing! An argument could be made for Eternatus vs. Necrozma, but it would be very interesting to actually see it happen!
@@luemece bc it wasn't a mega evolution related royale. just the pokemon themselves. there is a mega evolution battle royale that the same person who animated this made if you want to see it.
Terminalmontage is one of the funniest people on the platform and their animations as goofy as they look are really well made, and Lockstin is my #1 go-to for Pokemon lore and researching the inspirations of Pokemon designs, I def recommend both of them heavily
Im not sure why you would want to watch an explanation of a video before watching the said video, but good thing Lockstin reminded you what logic was and you watched the royale first XD All passive aggressive jokes aside this video is wild, funny, awrsome, and I hope a remake happens including all the new legendaries from Gen 8&9 (since the most recent gen at the time was Gen 7).
@@mycupoftea_1 There are five other battle royales, and they all are amazing. There is a baby pokemon, ultra beast, gmax pokemon, mega pokemon, and just all pokemon (excluding the previous) battle royales.
Realistically, he gave Necrozma powers that he doesn't have. Necrozma absorbs light. That's it. There's no reason to think he would be able to absorb Victini, never mind Arceus. In other words, don't mistake this video for legitimate informstion.
Dusk Mane and Dawn Wings are pretty solid evidence that Necrozma CAN do just that, at least in the case of Arceus. Let's take a glance at Arceus's dex entry from its own game. "It is the heavenly fount from which pours the light that shines across Hisui. Its luminance guides and protects all Pokémon." Solgaleo, which creates light, and Lunala, which steals light to shine down as its own, are both capable of being "absorbed" by Necrozma in the same manner as Arceus in this video. As for Victini, it shares the infinite energy it creates with those who touch it. Really, all Necrozma needs to do is grab the thing, hold on for a bit, and crush it before anyone else can steal it.
He definitely could. Victini creates infinite energy which Necrozma a being that absorbs light from entire dimensions could definitely use. Since any pokemon can absorb victinis power as its been done in the anime with standard pokemon.
@@heckermcheck8109 Yeah and canonically Necrozma is the source of all light in the multiverse and he gave it to every being in existence. Every universe has it to thank. The weak form he starts out as is a heavily weakened form. And once it's taken the light of a couple universes it goes to it's base state the ultra form. But before it gave away all the light to EVERY universe it was probably stronger than Arceus. Since we can find the creation trio in other universes that implies there could be other arceus's but only one Necrozma to give the multiverse light.
